Theme

Pinball City

Correlation to theme
I made the songs thinking about possible places in the pinball city, like an avenue full of arcades, buildings connected by aerial rails and a park where nature coexists with futuristic elements

Pinball City Park: I love how in the final chord of the progression, you add an extra note in the upward arpeggio to break up the feel of how the meter feels. This short track sets a great tone for the two tracks that will follow.

Three Days of Rain: The plucky reverby horn synth and then the later subdued bell-like noises are reminiscent of rain falling down. I think this is great aural imagery. I think the ending transition with the interesting chords is very creative and adds some tension to the serene flow before it.

Night in Arcade Avenue: This beat and chord progression feel uplifting and just make me want to dance! This one is my favorite and I think it captures the feeling of playing pinball the best. I think that the bells at the end bouncing in octaves is the most realistic pinball sound conveyed musically of all the pinball submissions and feels really good as it pulses with the beat.

Overall excellent job with 3 stellar tracks that show three different sides to Pinball City. Thank you so much for sharing!

Pinball City Park: what is this, some sort of Lo-Fi?! I am down :D. soft and sweet, with the type of nice chords I would expect in lo-fi. I think it is an interesting choice to let the melody from 0:12 to 0:20 have 4 repeating notes, yet from 0:20 to 0:23 to let it have 5 repeating notes. Took me a while to grasp what was going on.

Night in Arcade Avenue: that is the banging pinball theme I was expecting. Does the city only come to live at night? Since there is no day version :). Really banging song, awesome job! There is a bit of a blip at 1:35, not sure if that's intended.

Three Days of Rain: more Lo-Fi I see. I was afraid that lo-fi might not suit a pinball city well, but the instrument choices at least reinforce the concept. It is my least favorite of the three, as the drum is a bit too loud for my taste (and the intro 'reverse-cymbal-y' sounds are not my cup of tea (though they are cool).

It's always a trade-off whether to publish multiple songs, as one song can either bring all of them down, or strengthen the feel. You did a great job capturing different sides of the city. My favorite is 'Night in Arcade Avenue', which is also the most arcade-y song. Well fucking done :D

I really like the sound patches and overall production, and the outro in the last song

My favorite track is the third one (The night arcade).

The beginning of the first track sounds cool, I love the snare that comes in, sounds so clean

I really love the second track especially, lots of great synth work, and the really light glass-piano type instrument in the middle definitely complements the vibe really well

The percussion moment just before the middle of the third track is a really cool touch

All the tracks feel like they're part of the same cohesive album, so good job there

Wow there's a real progression to these tracks. A noticeable transition between spaces and also time going from the park theme and into the more energetic arcade avenue night scene.

Really cool, I like it a lot.

I loved all the soundtracks that you made. Especially the 'night in arcade avenue'. The vibes match to something that would be in Persona 5. Jazzy and funky. I also love the cover art! Great job!

Nice one! I think this might be the only laidback take on the pinball city.
