Lovely platformer. I included it in my Toy Box Jam 3 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

This was really great. Suffering through several deaths at the hands of different enemies and then getting weapons that were better at dealing with them, good level design that rarely got me lost but didn’t feel like a corridor, good checkpoints that saved me right when I wanted to give up if I had to retrace my steps, and a tough battle at the end.

I particularly loved getting the bombs and dropping them next to those terrible green aliens. And the particle explosion for enemies is great too!

This was awesome! Great controls, fun exploration and clever puzzles.

I love this game. It feels very smooth ,is very playable and looks great! Can't think of anything to make this better.

Lovely smooth platforming in this, such a well-polished game, doesn't feel like a jam game at all! :)

I really liked finding the secret areas, it was fun looking out for the slight differences in textures. The sliding block puzzles were really cool too, a very nice addition to the run 'n' gun formula.

Just to add to what I said on the game page, really good use of the tileset; it's easy for ToyBoxJam games to end up looking like they've been pieced together, definitely not the case here :D

That was just great! I love how spacious it feels - lots of wide open jumping. Just a great game. I think you did a great job of keeping puzzle elements somewhat close together so you could see all of the important parts of a puzzle at once - reminds me of a gameboy platformer with a huge playable character sprite but it is still playable.

Great game. I loved it.

This is awesome, very well done! I was able to soft lock myself in this section. On the left side I flipped the blue switch then jumped up before the ledge got there. Will give it another shot though, this is a great entry :)

Thanks for letting me know about this. I think it's a good alternative way to getting through that area so I'm going to adjust the level layout to make a valid solution.

Oooh. This was so much fun, plenty of homage and references baked in, very playable, and wow, well thought out levels and puzzles. I don't know if I played the reworked bosses but whew that final one was a bit of a doozie at first. Can't wait to read devlog and level tools!

I really like the puzzles and the overall sense of exploration in this game. I really don't like the boss battles. I stopped at the ufo one, because I felt like all I could do is guess at when the boss would shoot. The shot timing is too inconsistent to memorize but also doesn't give enough time to react to the next shots after jumping over one. Similarly, the skull boss seemed to have a random chance to charge at a different height that made it impossible to dodge right after a jump.

Thanks for the feedback. I was worried the boss fights were too tough. I've adjusted their shooting so it's more predictable and easier to dodge, especially for the final boss that would  shoot so frequently that sometimes it was impossible to avoid being hit. I also made the skull boss shake for a second before charging so there's plenty of time to react and get out of the way.
