I love the graphics and the overall aesthetic. The demon has very good animation as well. I wasn't able to play it to the end, but from I experienced it was an awesome experience.

the demon is an absolute jerk, very cool look though!  had a fun Quake kind of feel

Very impressive! Got some Heretic / Silent Hill 1 PS feels.
I appreciate the checkpoints and the logic for the demons is very well done, maybe a bit unforgiving sometimes, still amazing work.

Really cool atmosphere. I like this a lot. I am really bad at dealing with the demon, they keep sending me to space.

amazing game! the artstyle and atmosphere are top-notch. I just couldn't get past that monster, but i watched Bis35's playthrough and it looks stunning. I would genuinely not be surprised to find this game on steam. good job!

i casually clicked this to blow through it like some of the other jam games and just started walking around without paying attention and next thing i knew i was running for my dear life terrified and too afraid to leave the library. good work, you actually got my heart rushing, haha! the only critique I have is that some of the sounds sound too much like minecraft sounds. it's a little distracting and cheapens the obviously tons of hard work you all put in this. But also, I completely forgot about that as I was running for my dear life because this is great

Glad you found it scary haha! I gotta ask, if you remember, which sounds were like minecraft sounds? I'd like to fix that but weirdly enough I've never played that game myself!

This is insanely impressive for a 13-day jam game. Not only does it look great, but its very polished and feels good to play. You guys are a relatively large team, but still, the scope and quality of this are really good. I really like the open ended nature of it too. It's fun to explore the different areas and try to figure out what to do.

Only real shame is the lack of a real ending. Obviously its incomplete, but it doesn't seem like you even need all three artifacts to get it. I accidentally stumbled on it after getting the artifact that makes you float. I'm looking forward to what you add after the jam, though!

Appreciate the kind words, it was definitely a lot of work! I'm glad you enjoyed the exploration and open ended nature. The hope was that either of the first two artifacts could be obtained first and would help out with getting the next one if people were having trouble.

Yes, I'm looking forward to adding a real ending, probably shortly after judging ends. As you can probably tell we were under some time pressure when adding that room in the end!

This game uses the HPSX Render Pipeline. The demon model is "re-animated" from a previous jam :)

All other assets were made for this jam.
