This game was fun to play and had a great concept! The movement was a bit weird and the visuals definitely needed some work, but overall the game was fun.

It's a bit fun killing to randomly dig everywhere in search for a treasure. Maybe it was pirate life after all. Littles clues for player wouldn't be much... You seem to have put works in offering coherent sound design. Congrats nevertheless :D

Nice take on the theme and the idea behind it! I understand the pain when I overestimate my time frame and try to do multiple jams. It almost never worked. But, you atleast got a doable game here. Besides the chunky movements, the gameplay was not so bad.

The game does great in giving you the sense of being absolutely lost in the open seas - fits well with the theme. I sailed east into the nothingness for ages then decided to restart.

Just a little bit more help at the start would've made things easier. Finding the shovel was more rewarding than anything else though :) as you start digging every pixel you see.

It felt like i just bruteforce to finish the game lol

I think it would be much better if you made some clue where to find the item, maybe some odd shaped island and some piece of paper would do. Ring Bonney's Treasure last level is a great example for this

GL for the future

That damn shovel was a B*%ch to find. although it did give me a feeling of supreme power once I had it. Great game that was spot on with the theme.
