Really cool matrix bullet time effect, I suppose it was achieved using Godot's Engine.time_scale?
I think a Celeste-like dash ability would improve the gameplay a lot, because right now, you don't have much tools at your hand to actually dodge the canon balls. Often, you just end up staring painfully long at your inevitable death.
Yeah I agree. I did want to give the player another tool like an air-dash or a shield, but I couldn't find the time. You're also exactly right about Engine.time_scale. It seemed like a really cheap way to achieve the bullet-time effect. Anyways, thanks for playing!
Pretty good masocore game--I don't play these too often, so I wasn't the best at it lol--I got to the part where the canons double as platforms. Couldn't beat it. Pretty good!
