The slowness of character really eats pleasure of the game. I liked the mines(that you step on them, and if you step out of mine, it blows up) and graphics. I think there was some ambitions in this project that we didn't get to see, as I was pretty much just wandering (in a mine field) without any goal.
Oh boy, the character moves so slow! It really ramps up the tension but is maybe so slow that it detracts from the experience. The art reads well, and your animations are clean. Well done!
Cool game! Initially had a very similar idea of trying to avoid landmines for my game. Character moves very slow, increasing the speed on that would be nice. I thought the shield mechanic was very cool!
Fits the theme well, would be nice if you moves slightly faster. Also would be nice to give a small indication where the mines are as it's very hard at the moment.
I feel like this game would be way more fun if the character would move faster.
