Nice and effective, requires heavy clicking tho! The 'hit' sfx is just perfect

Developer

Yeah , controls still need works .
Thnaks from a bird connoisseur to another .

good i feel like if the bird legs moved a little when moved would have made it better

Developer

I agree , having the legs moves , would add a lot  visually .

Thanks

Love the cool particles and music! Satisfying combat and effects

I would have just liked a diagonal movement!

Developer(+1)

Thanks .

For the diagonal movement , i did tweak my controls to have , and it way better , too bad i cant upload  this tweak .

Thanks for your feedback .

you can this is form the discord

Developer

oh thanks , didnt know that .

Nice submission! It would be good if there was an indication of what you need to do to beat each level e.g. how many enemies you need to kill. Also, it's annoying how your character is always moving up and down without you doing anything. Probably better to just let the player fully control the character and maybe have momentum to make it more interesting and 'physicsy'

Developer

Thanks  a lot for feedbacks .

For the goal , its   to survive each level until the count down reach 0 , but it should have been clearer ,

For the up and down , i tried to mimic a jet pack movement  , but i guess it didnt get the desired effect .

Yeah I realised it was to mimic the movement of a jetpack but I think this is probably somewhere to sacrifice realism for more satisfying game mechanics. Just my opinion though

Developer

I agree , i did tweak that effect to be more subtle , and it way better , controls too .
Too bad i cant upload it .
Thanks a lot for your feedback .

Also, if you're interested in making games with these sorts of mechanics then I would highly recommend you play a game called Brute developed by MGFM. You can find it on Steam.

Developer

Thanks , i will check it .

amazing art, really fun game but i found a bit hard to get used to the movement!

Developer

Thanks .

Yeah the controls are still lacking , specially in diagonal movements

Oooookay :D As soon as I stopped being so shy and started to spam the left mouse button, the action was great!

Love it - good game!

I loved this game! It reminds me of Doodle Jump and gave me nostalgia of that game! Now those memories of playing that game are starting to light up like lights on a Christmas tree. Thank you!

However, there is one bad thing I want to say about this game: The movement. I mean, I get it, the movement makes sense because of the physics of jetpacks and such, but I do prefer Zelda-style top-down movement than with this type of movement.

I think this deserves an 8.7/10. The gameplay is neat too.

Thanks a lot for your coment and feedbacks .
i might try that type of controls and test it , iam now kinda curious to see the result :)
