Very good game there
I love the simple yet briliant desing. Using background for the points counter and keeping the interface clear is amazing. Graphics suits itselfs with the colors you picked and sounds are great. The little screen shake add a dimension to the game. Wish there was some chill music here though. The game is quickly becoming repetitive and far too easy. I think that because you can move the paddle so quick with your mouse, make it that way. I was just standing in the middle and reflecting the bullets which wasn't hard. Overall fun experience and great design with still a space to improve :)
Thank you! I completely agree with the points you are making and will improve the game in the future.
super well polished for the short time frame! looks really cool and felt really nice
Thank you, tobble!
Very nifty use of the theme. At first I didn't understand why I needed any movement - then multiple enemies started coming at me. I think with a bit of tuning this could easily become a game I would sink far more time into than I originally anticipated! Great job!
Thank you! It took me a while to realize that moving around is pretty much optional. I'm thinking about adding pickups to force the player to move. I will update the game once the jam is over.
Simple and satisfying idea with clear graphics. I liked how bounce- and destroy-noises made a pattern which sounds like a background beat/music. Considering the future development, the difficulty level could be increased proportionally as the time/points increase. The font was also quite cramped when the points reached three digits, maybe it could be reduced in proportion to the points. I liked the screen shaking effect, it brought a nice physicality to the gameplay. It was fun to play!
Thank you for your feedback! I didn't expect people to play long enough to reach more than 99 points, but I'm glad you did!
A very satisfying wave-based shooter. I think a musical score might be nice but, besides that, it's a very polished entry and an enjoyable one at that.
Thank you, Stephen! I agree that it can use some music. I am planning to add that in the future.
Fun game with simple but great graphics
Thank you!
