A nice solid submission, I like the inverted idea of breaking bricks game
Some feedback
Thanks for the feedback! I actually wanted to add some background music/sound effects to the game, but a js error didn't allow me to. Basically, because i've used html5 to make this game (not unity or something), i couldn't play a sound when the user didn't interact with the website (eg. clicked something). That's why i could add a sound when you press "enter", but not when the ball destroys the bricks or something.
And yeah, i should definitely add a more challenging difficulty.
Fun little mini-game. Would be cool if the ball moved faster and there was sound, but apart from that, I really liked this game!
Thanks! Maybe I'll do an update after the voting phase of the jam :)
I started playing without reading the description, it's just brick breaker afterall, but I was pleasently surprised to find it was indeed not my classic brick breaking game. That's a really fun twist to put on it!
Thanks! :)
Clever! I don't think I've seen something like this before. I kept expecting the ball to bounce off the other bricks, but instead it came right back to me like a mirror, so that kept me on my toes. I enjoyed this! I matched everything except 1 brick 🙂
Thank you! I've implemented this coming back like a mirror because it was the easiest thing to do 😅 but I think it turned out pretty well
Managed 90% on my first try. Nice twist on a classic!
Nice! Thanks :)
I got 85% accuracy!! Nice, I quite like the game idea and it was the right amount of challenging for me :)
Thanks! :)
