So cute - always love puzzle plattformers with some sorta twist. Really impressivly polished for 4 hours as well. Good job all around - would love to see a bigger version where you have to figure out the "level oddities" to solve more complex plattformer puzzles!
Really good job on the mechanics and gameplay!
The graphics are great for this timeframe, I really like the light effect on the background tiles with the limited palette. I found the jumping physics a bit finicky, but I enjoyed how the levels kept surprising you.
This feels great to play, I love the puzzley aspect of it. I’d be interested to see what other directions you can think of going with this, because this is super solid for a 5 hour game! Were all of the assets created in that time? The art looks great!
Well done concept for the amount of time you had, and I like how you pushed your mechanic this much within that time. Great job!
Nice art and idea! Is it an infinite loop or are there other endings?
thank you :)
Yes, the game is just an infinite loop but it would be a good idea to implement multiple endings but being the first game we made with Pico 8 we didn't want to complicate things too much :)
Great game, the art is very nice and aesthetically pleasing. The movement and controls are very snappy, and are hard to get used to. I like the idea as well but I can't see it correlating to the theme that well.
thanks for the comment, we see it like is and odd thing that you always return to the same room but with changes
