Was a bit confused about the jump being recharged after getting a token until I reread the instructions after playing the first few rounds. Good job overall with applying the theme of the jam.
Game does decently well at fitting the theme. Was a challenge as physics keeps the balls momentum.
Sound effects and music were alright.
Didn't realize the darkness mechanic was in the first run, my second run I experienced that by taking too long to move between areas which was unexpected but neat.
This game was indeed hard, not sure if in a good way or bad. I would really like if the controls were a slight more responsive but other than that, the idea is solid and can be expanded upon with levels and other additions.
I like the atmosphere, but there are some bugs!
1) If I press jump while falling the start, it goes through the pannel,
2) For some reasons I wasn't able to jump anymore at some point,
3) It seems like there is not a game over check, so this means that I have to refresh the page each time I want to replay the game!
With these fixes I think that it can be a really good game!
Another suggestion is to choose the sound effects that match with all the other stuff in the game!
Anyway you did a great atmosphere in the game and this is not easy to do!
Thank for you for playing!
1) Indeed, I'm failing to understand this one!
2) Your jump refreshs only when you collect items.
3) There is, but it takes a solid 30s. I had my fun, sorry ^^
