Very well done! The amount of content and polish for 6.5 hours is amazing! I wish the camera was a little further away to make dodging the rouge asteroids a bit easier, but a small complaint due to personal playing style. The map implementation is done nicely and this is an excellent submission overall.

Yes, I quite agree with you about the camera. The problem with pixel art is that once you've made certain dimension choices, it's pretty hard to resize everything, or you end up having to correct a lot of things to get it to display correctly on the screen. I clearly didn't have the time to correct this.
Real quick bug report: this game seems to be broken on Firefox on Windows
Oh thank you for this report! It seems that firefox can't handle the positions of so many asteroids on the map. I fixed it by slightly reducing the map refresh rate. Logically, it should work.
Beaucoup de travail engagé ! J’ai paniqué en me disant que tout a été fait en 3h et puis j’ai vu le timer, ça m’a rassuré sur mon rythme de travail 😂
Parfois les trajets sont un peu long, je pense avoir eu la malchance de devoir parcourir toute la galaxie.
A quand une course poursuite avec des space pirates dans les ceintures de météores !

Oui les trajets sont immenses ! Je pense que si j'avais eu davantage de temps (ou que si j'avais voulu dépasser le timer davantage xD) j'aurais rajouter des amélioration qu'on aurait pu acheter pour quelques crédits : des boost pour aller plus vite dans cet immense univers, des boucliers pour pallier aux astéroïdes, et autres capacités pour nous faciliter la tâche. Mais je m'étais promis pour cette trijam de ne pas trop en faire :D
Et rajouter des spaces pirates... Oh la la ! Ce serait un beau bordel ! ahah !
Bon peut-être qu'un jour je ferai une mise à jour avec tout ça^^

I am absolutely amazed at how much content and polish you managed to cram into those 6 and a half hours!
Extremely fun game and really liked the vibe, with the minimap visuals being a paarticular highlight - speaking of the minimap, the choice to have rouge un-mapped asteroids is fantastic, I was originally navigating solely through minimap and then hit one. Massive surprise and I was a much more cautious driver afterwards.

It's true that I can't help but put in a lot of content and polish, even during the trijam which should push you to get to the point!
I'm very proud of this mini map, I must admit. The non-displayed asteroids were indeed intended to prevent players from driving only with the map open. And in any case, when I did display them on the map, it certainly looked very nice, but it also slowed down the game a lot. There are 1000 asteroids in all, and 600 of them are already displayed! Anyway, I'm glad you're driving carefully - we wouldn't want an accident to happen!
I really love how your game is complete, with sound effects, music, the capitalist story. Sometimes destinations are far away and the asteroids come really fast, making the game quite challenging. Well done !

Yes, I have an annoying tendency to be a perfectionist and to want to make the game just about complete, even for a 3-hour game jam!
It's true that the game is difficult. However, I managed to last 16 months (64 minutes in real life, so it's better to have time on your hands), but of course having created the game gives you a certain advantage :D
I deliberately didn't show the asteroids drifting in space on the map, because I didn't want players to drive looking only at the map. But then, those are particularly hard to avoid.
Honestly, I don't think it's my most balanced or fun game. But I like the atmosphere I've managed to create, as well as a little glimpse of the vastness of space, so I'm okay with that.

Don't do away with it! These things can happen, and it's fun and interesting to see two different versions of the same idea. Your galactic taxi is much cuter and less oppressive or capitalistic than mine, for example :D

I love it!!! It's a school of patience and focus combined. It took me a while to improve, but I'm starting to master the switch between the map and the sky. The pink spaceship is so much fun!! And the planets with quirky names are really well done. Another beautiful game created live!

Of course, you have to be methodical and patient with this one: I lasted 16 months in the game, that's one game of over an hour!
And thank goodness for the little pink ship! Because life isn't easy as an intergalactic cab driver!
