Really cool idea for the theme! I think it's one of the more unique ones! I also really enjoyed the music it really fitted the theme! (and was really relaxing). Also the little effect that you see eyes of square was really cute!
As also CapitolJay mentioned it was hard to get around the corners.. Maybe try to have smaller colliders or that players always moves by one unit. I don't know if it would work for you implementation but something along those lines
Great interpretation on the theme, and solid gameplay, especially for 3 hours. Music was also super apropriate. Only thing I would suggest is to make it a little easier to go around corners. I seemed to be getting hung up a little more on them than I'd like. Otherwise really great though.
Thanks for the advice! I did notice that tended to happen when I was testing last-minute movement speeds and such, I just didn't have enough time to spend going through different ways to try to fix it as I was already cutting it close. Might just do that in the future, though!
I really wanted to use drifting asleep as a game mechanic for my game too but I just couldn't think how it could work.
But you've done it perfectly! Really liked the eyes slowly closing and the lullaby music
Also, I got 58.69 seconds
Great idea and great job on this game ;)
