the use of foreboding choral chanting immediately reminded me of music from the souls series, so given your description, i could absolutely see this having a place in Bloodborne. it's rare for me to find big orchestral tracks that don't sound very synthetic, especially when it comes to vocal stuff, so i found this to be very impressive. awesome job! :)

Bloodborne was exactly what was in my mind when arranging this piece :)

Also, love your recording, you are a great musician

That throat singing reminds of the scene from Dune. Regardless, it’s a fitting choice for a piece titled “Night Terror”.

The stacking of voices at 0:44 blew me away just by how massive it sounds!

Thank you! I've always associated fear with that kind of folk sound, maybe because is foreign to me

It is really interesting to hear all the different interpretations of what Halloween means. I really love the more cinematic epic angle you've taken.

There is a folky quality to this that makes me imagine this song fitting very well in a game such as God of War. I’m really impressed with the choral aspects of this piece. It has a very epic and grand sound to it. There is a lot of energy and suspense that would accompany a fight well. Good work and thank you for sharing!

Tnx! I actually headbanged a little with your entry, so great job! Only thing I miss was the bass, hit me up if you ever want a session bass player for metal!

Hey thanks for the offer, I may do that!

Wow, hitting us with the epicness! I really enjoyed your use of different vocal colors, as well as the general dramatic arch.

I agree with Buscadon though, I can't picture the track with the scene you're describing. But that doesn't matter, you did a great job!

Tnx! I really enjoyed the melody of your entry, it has a lot of character :D

I really love the orchestral sound to this piece, it has a very strong atmosphere to it (as it should)! Overall I would say this is very solid, it has nice instrumentation and fits the boss battle theme well.

Reading your description though, I am not sure it really captures the specific vibes of what you are going for. When I listen to the song, I don't really get a sense that the character is being attacked by a disturbing creature. I feel like if you want more of that, maybe you want to go more chromatic? I'm not really sure.

Either way, great job, keep it up!

Developer

Tnx! I like your entry, I immediately understood what you mean with the chromatic sound :)
