the strong, bouncy, minor motif, the incremental instrument layering, and the crescendo of the B section...this all fits the theme perfectly! very well done, big fan :)))
Nice! Sounds like “Danny Elfman” meets “Banjo Kazooie”. There’s plenty of variation between the melody, harmonized melody, and C Major bridge sections to keep the composition fresh.
Thanks for sharing your tune!
The fast-paced bouncy sound right off the bat feels immediately like “Halloween” and “boss battle”. I really like the instrumentation you use, especially the mallet instrument, the voice-like synth, and the timpani. Great development of the main theme on the second repeat with the harmonization. This sounds like a tune I would find in a Kirby or other Nintendo game. Great work and thanks for sharing!
Bouncy vibes, my first thought was “lancer if he was an actual bad guy”. The reverbed ending was surprisingly ominous. Good job!
That hit the halloween theme on the head, with the uptempo oompah beat and the whimsical melody. Is the similarity to the Forest of Illusion from Super Mario World intentional? Works well as a starting point for your theme, nice touch if it was. Very applicable as well, this could be put in a game or other media as is, great job!
When I hear the instrumentation of this song I picture a little squeaky toy getting stretched up and down along to bass while little guys walking in lines by it. I love the rhythm of this song especially, it has such a lively and chaotic vibe to it, very Halloween! It also is very loopable.
Nice job, keep up the great work.
