How to Play
Shoot your paint projectiles to make the route to your most cherished memories visible before everything gets annihilated by the memory-fading Sphere. Use your secondary color projectile to save the memories you want to keep and protect them from the fading away after the Shpere will be gone. Move using standard WASD and Mouse controls, shoot your primary color with the right mouse button and shoot your secondary color with the left mouse button.

Used Diversifiers
Universal, Time Sensitive, Clear View, Fifty Shades.

The colour splats mechanic worked great.
But I wish there was a auto-firing for the grey colour. The mouse spamming was tiring.

And wish there was a compass like thing telling us where to go.
I fell down the map couple of times trying to find where to go.

I like the little stories that are told (and could be told in the future) with this mechanic.

Just popping to mention you can add the Fifty Shades diversifier to the list!

It's a very interesting concept for a game ^^

Thanks. Didn't noticed :D

Originally I had some trouble testing this entry, due to performance issue, but luckily my teammate has more VRAM, so some more testing was possible.
I really really like the create core premisse of the game and the world you have created, even if there is some clunkyness in the colouring and navigation at times. Both the main game loop and the way the concept applied to the theme felt  unique, great entry =)

I reeeealy liked the idea, there an amazing feeling to spamming your click forward at the beggining and seeing a whole building show up in front of your eyes (even though my cpu didnt like it that much :P). Really ambitious project and overall good result for a Jam. Congratz!

i like the shader effect i enjoyed following the color as it went through the world rather than painting everything myself!^^ kind of want to explore the mechanic with more colors etc. Only problem i have is that my fps is low single digits :( nice work though!

Thanks for all the feedback.
The project was very ambitious and big for the game jam, but we wanted to realize the project the way we imagined it.
Unfortunately there was not enough time to complete the project in the end, so some elements of the game are missing.
The whole game works like this:
You play a person who can't remember anything due to illness. But by walking around in the old environment and discovering the world you can decide to remember important things in your life.
You start in an empty world where you cannot see anything.
With the left mouse button you shoot grey balls that allow you to see the world.
With the right mouse button, you shoot blue balls that serve to keep the objects in your memory forever.
The opponent is the big "nothing" represented by a black wall.  All objects that are covered by the "nothing" are no longer able to be selected.
The goal is to find the old house where you lived with your family.

I would've liked a bit more direction on what was going on, I felt a bit lost throughout the game and didn't really know what to do.

On the other hand, it was also really exciting watching the world being unveiled by my color splats. I think the environment is well crafted as well. Definitely a very nice atmospheric experience!

With too many splats, the game becomes terribly laggy 馃槄 also, it'd maybe be more fitting to have a limit on how much secondary paint you can use
