I had a good time with the game, very fun! The levels got quite brutal with the lasers everywhere. I was not able to finish the last one (what I believe to be the last one anyways, with two rooms and a classified document behind the door), maybe I just didn't find the right way through.

Developer

The one with 2 rooms and a classified document behind the door is the last level. Thanks for playing!

I wish the lasers were raycast and not particles, I had a false hit a few times and that felt horrible, except that everything was great

Developer

The lasers actually do use raycasts to detect players, and the particles are just so you can see the lasers. Though since the cameras are tilted downwards, some of the lasers become slightly inaccurate. Still, Thanks for playing!

I believe your post has received ample recommendations to be better, I feel I want to highlight the things I found fun in your game. I commend:

-Your game design, was simple while also being fun; but also offered a challenge to the player.

-The level transitions you incorporated were very ingenious, I loved them.

-The idea of a think-pad to remember the code is very thoughtful too, not a lot of participants would bother with that.
-Your game felt complete.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing your game and would recommend my peers to try it out.

Thanks you for all your kind words!

This game is quite well done, I'd make the crouch a bit more apparent and also maybe a bit more needed, otherwise had quite some fun !

Developer

Thanks! I might consider patching the game after the jam.

cool game , loved the red siren buzz! i had a though time figuring out where the code was hidden, made it more challenging , one of the best in the genre!

Developer

Thanks for playing! The code mechanic is mainly for challenge, so I’m glad to see it worked as intended.

Nice game! The last level was pretty tricky. Took me a few attempts. It was kind of hard for me to find good uses for the containers. I think I only used them a few times throughout the game.

I definitely liked the more challenging levels.

Great game!

Developer

Thanks! The crates are a bit of a use-it-if-you-need item most of the time, they are needed sometimes but that’s only to make sure players know how to use it.

Oh, that makes sense! A cool extra to add would have been an agent rating or something to motivate people to be as quiet as possible. I know that's kind of hard to do for a game jam, but would have been neat to see an ending silent score.

Developer

That’s a really great idea! I might add it after the jam ends.

Amazing graphics and mechanics. The crouch could have been more apparent by lowering the camera a bit further. The transitions from level to level are amazing and creative. I found that once you get tagged by a laser, you can just run to the code/elevator the rest of the way because we're immune for a few seconds. Keep it up!

Thank you so much for playing! I didn’t notice the crouching thing at first so thanks for pointing it out, though I don’t think I’ll fix it unless there are several other things to fix as well. Thanks!

First, I had a little jump scare when placing a crate, it was too loud compared to footsteps. Fun and hard game. The "noise management" mechanic makes you think a lot about your next move, especially when it's almost full. Nice job!

I tested the audio with speakers rather than headphones and I assume it sounds slightly different based on the audio device, so thanks for pointing that out and thanks for playing!
