The lasers actually do use raycasts to detect players, and the particles are just so you can see the lasers. Though since the cameras are tilted downwards, some of the lasers become slightly inaccurate. Still, Thanks for playing!

The one with 2 rooms and a classified document behind the door is the last level. Thanks for playing!

That’s a really great idea! I might add it after the jam ends.

Thanks you for all your kind words!

Thanks! I might consider patching the game after the jam.

Thanks for playing! The code mechanic is mainly for challenge, so I’m glad to see it worked as intended.

Just a heads-up, I was playing in fullscreen so esc would just un-fullscreen the game for me, though I don’t know what key could make more sense.

Thanks! The crates are a bit of a use-it-if-you-need item most of the time, they are needed sometimes but that’s only to make sure players know how to use it.

This game is really cool! The puzzles were interesting and the stealth was intense. You definitely succeeded in making it scary. the story was also quite compelling. Though a couple small things: after dying the game doesn't reset, so I had to reload the page and click "continue" instead. at one point on of the ghost-things just disappeared completely, only to reappear right next to me later (can't tell if this is a bug or a feature). also one of the ghost-things just stood right next to me and stopped moving, after a minute or so I tried to run and it killed me. the transitions between different areas are also a bit sudden (maybe fading or some other transition could help). great submission!

Interesting idea! the game looks really realistic and I find it satisfying to slowly make the area quieter and quieter. One bug I found: the tutorial would not progress past the powerup part, until after I died, then the game worked properly.

Thank you so much for playing! I didn’t notice the crouching thing at first so thanks for pointing it out, though I don’t think I’ll fix it unless there are several other things to fix as well. Thanks!

I often found myself struggling to find doors or know where I'm going (though I know that is the point) but the game is still cool, fun, and sometimes a bit scary (if your not expecting something). great job! Also I don’t recommend hiding the mouse/cursor for games like this as it makes aiming slightly confusing.

I tested the audio with speakers rather than headphones and I assume it sounds slightly different based on the audio device, so thanks for pointing that out and thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing and thanks for the feedback! I’ll make sure to take this feedback into account if I ever update the game. And I am also glad you enjoyed playing as you progressed.

Thank you! I’m glad you liked this submission and thought the design was good, also, it’s fine if your submission isn’t perfect, you’ll improve as you keep making games, and my games are still quite far from perfect as well.

More tutorial would help, but it was pretty clear to me, my first round was just figuring things out, but after that I fully understood it. It’s clearer than you might think.

this is actually so much fun! I found myself just hitting squat and trying to turn off any delayed ones, but I also noticed the deviant speaking differently, so at one point I had disabled all the defectives and found the deviant, I told the deviant "Run, deviant" to see what would happened, it was quite funny because it said "I will not run, I regret my actions but accept what I have done, goodbye." most times the deviant would lie/deny that it was the deviant, but this one was quite funny. also in 1 round I randomly decided to try my luck and shoot one at random, and it was actually the deviant (I only did this once but it was hilarious) It was also funny to just talk to Sam Spade about his cat named "Whiskers". this game is actually really good and after figuring out how it works, I loved every second of it! incredible submission! (also just a heads up, but the gun is fully compatible with autoclickers, so you might want to put some slight cooldown on it.)

this game was really fun! I quite enjoyed the dialogue system, and having a beat-‘em-up game as a nice break in between, in the beat-‘em-up section I could usually just stand still and spam “e”, and it was slightly odd how the guards didn’t attack the clone (though that makes sense for gameplay reasons), I found a strategy for convincing the police fairly early on, and I could use it to go innocent most times. Good submission!

This is a really interesting use of ML, I like how you can see the progress of the monster getting better and better at platforming, to the point where sometimes it would be ahead of me. good submission!

This was so good! at first I was confused with what was happening but once I figured it out it was really fun, I like the strategy element of which parts you equip for speed or damage advantages and how you have to think ahead of which parts will break. I've been waiting for this to show up in my queue for a while now, and I quite enjoyed it, great job!

fun and interesting game, though I don't know why, but my browser crashed after getting one wrong. though I quite enjoy this style of game, good job!

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the puzzles!

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

cool idea, though glitchy at times.

controls are confusing at first, but smart AI and cool game!

thanks you for playing! I knew some of the platforming parts could be difficult, but that’s also why the levels can be played in any order (just in-case you didn’t notice, you can press escape to open a menu where you can go back to level select.) I also found designing puzzles (and physics glitches) one of the hardest parts of making this. Glad you thought it was good though!

if your monitor is 16:9 aspect it should work fine, but it sounds like it might not be (the text scales with screen size so if it’s anything other than 16:9 it will be the wrong size and position)(I didn’t really account for there being monitors of different ratios), likely because the text was bugged and it may have looked like it’s V to clone, even though it’s actually Q, also sorry for the typo in the description, its 9 puzzles (not including any room of the tutorial), but I accidentally hit 0 after and didn’t notice (I have fixed it now).

The colliders actually are squares, but there are many physics issues because I haven’t used physics in games before. I am also quite new at game dev, But thanks for playing!

this was quite fun and really creative, though a bit easy, I found my self finishing with 40 seconds to spare on the last level, and a similar number on the 4th.

I was a bit confused as to what was happening and what I was doing, everything (seemed) to be working but there were no instructions on what to do.

looks quite fun and reminds me of cards against humanity, though screen goes all grey in the middle of a round and stops working. nice idea and hope you can fix the bugs for a post-jam update if you're planning on that.

cool how the ai reacts to some in ways you wouldn't expect, nice submission!

fun game!

at the start you're given a lot of information, maybe too much to remember, but I figured it out, it was a great game!

this game is really good! I quite enjoyed playing a few rounds of it, though in one round: I had 2 disc launchers still alive (the top and bottom), the ai had 1 still alive (the middle) because you can't shoot unless there is an enemy Infront of you, I couldn't shoot at powerups and no-one could win.

for a first jam this is good! one thing I will point out: by continuously upgrading cooldown I managed to get the cooldown to -0.9000000000000002, and this basically fires instantly and 10 times a second (can't tell if this was a glitch or a joke). but still good!

slight bug: the exit spawned on top of a crate once and I couldn't get to it, the boss is also a bit easy, but the game is quite fun, pretty creative, and looks/sounds good! good submission.

Glitch: By crashing into a wall on top of the balcony (balcony in photo 1) I managed to escape the spaceship (photo 2). aside from that, this is so cool!

I found it quite hard, but I love how creative the idea is, I never would've thought to make the player a boulder!

Thanks! I might continue working on it after the jam ends, I have some ideas of how to improve the game but I'm still not 100% sure I'll continue it.
