Oh, that makes sense! A cool extra to add would have been an agent rating or something to motivate people to be as quiet as possible. I know that's kind of hard to do for a game jam, but would have been neat to see an ending silent score.

I enjoyed the environment, and I think fixing the controls would help a lot. I feel you on the time constraint. I think this prototype could be interesting to build off.

Thanks for playing, we're really glad that you enjoyed it! We are going to work on making the gameplay more clear.

I'd love to try this more but I can't sing at all. No way I'd ever make it past the cat.

Would love to see someone play through this though!

As other commenters said, would be nice to have a bigger light in the beginning. Also, not sure what happened with the flashlight, but couldn't figure out how to turn it on. Maybe I had to upgrade it 1 more time?

Peter needs to do a better job at cleaning up, lol.

Really fun game. Reminds me of a 2D version of Thief Simulator.

I really enjoyed the game environment and playing as a cat! The music/noise was a bit overwhelming to play with. Had to mute it a bit cause it gave me a headache, which is probably why the poor cat hates it!

I wish I could have explored the environment more or solved some puzzles. The food and water were a little hard to manage and took away from me looking around at what people were doing. The only other thing was I couldn't figure out that 'Q' was to meow till later because the popup leaves in the beginning.

I'd love to see this with more interactions and the ability to jump around.

Nice, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

After finishing this, it feels like a project we want to continue. We wanted to add a whole lot more with skills and strategies and lure monsters away. Wish I had a few extra days for this submission.

Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it!

I'm guessing that means more contrast or vibrant colors?

Interesting way to show light while looking around. The commentary was pretty funny, loved that.

Interesting concept. Loved the way you did the colors and contrast. I had the same issues as the other commenters. I really wanted to reload, and I couldn't shoot while running sometimes. Very interesting game and environment.

Great job on this game! Felt very complete. The only thing that I struggled with was restarting the game on death. Thanks to Mrpig's comment I was able to finish the game! Great job guys!

1 way to do it is off of memory. So avoid the tiles that you know create noise.

2nd option is to double back to the silent path once you hit a noisy tile. You will always start on the silent path so backtracking can keep you away from monsters long enough to avoid them.

3rd would be to risk it and keep running faster than the monsters can catch you. This can work fine in some situations.

Thanks for your feedback, our team needs to figure out a way to make the gameplay more clear, and we'd like to add more options to mitigate monster attacks.

I really like the idea of launching people into the air and teleporting up to them. Would be neat to have this working more fluidly with more controls. I found it kind of hard to manage a crowd, so having alternative attacks would have been really helpful.

I like this unique idea. Definitely something I haven't seen before.

Nice game! The last level was pretty tricky. Took me a few attempts. It was kind of hard for me to find good uses for the containers. I think I only used them a few times throughout the game.

I definitely liked the more challenging levels.

Great game!

I liked the environment, and this seemed to go well with the Silence theme.

Cool direction. Never seen a game like that before.

Nice, some of those puzzles are really challenging. Great job on the design!

This reminds me of that game "The Classroom!" Awesome interpretation!
