Thanks for playing my game! I planned on making it a little longer and having some more details but didn't have the time. I plan on revisiting this game later in the year and utilize all suggestions to make it more complete and add in more levels!
Thanks for playing! yea I liked the grim twist as well. I will definitely be returning to this project to make it a little more whole, and implement improvements from everyone here, I appreciate the feedback
Fun tower defense! A couple suggestions I would give if you are going to flesh this game out more is maybe scaling the UI to the resolution as I could barely see the towers and text at the bottom of the screen since they were small and pop ups describing what the towers are would be great for info and flavor text. Overall, great job on the game! :D
Im glad you enjoyed the game! thanks for the feedback, some of the things you mentioned I wanted to clean up prior to posting, but I just ran out of time. (Submitted a week early because I wouldn't be available the remainder of the time period). I plan on using this feedback though to better update the game and re-release it maybe in 3-5 months with 10-15 levels and even more enemies/tower selections. One of the things I really wanted to do but could not implement was a level where there was no path at all an the orcs did machine learning based on your placement of towers to try and make the best path to the other side of the map, that would be a later level addition. Thanks again for the feedback!
Fun game! I appreciated the different enemy types and the different towers. I would have liked to see HP bars on the enemies so that I could tell which ones to focus on. Also, some stats for the towers would be good to show the player, again, so that they can make an informed decision (I don't know the difference between the red or blue towers!). Apart from that, some more levels, units and towers would be the easiest way to expand the game...
Yeah I agree with the below, I plan on updating the game in the coming months to make it even better as I enjoyed working on this way more than I thought I would. Thank you for playing and I appreciate the feedback!
This game was built in Unity, I utilized C# for my scripting and pulled many assets off the Unity Store free assets. I provide a credits section at the end, and appreciate all input provided by outside sources. I was working through the GameDev.Tv courses when I started working on the game.
Feel free to leave any advise or tips on the game. I am just starting my dev journey and this is my first submission for a Jam all tips and pointers are welcome.
Also its counter intuitive, but lose one time also to get the full effect of the story!
Comments
I love tower defense games, this had some good bones to it!
Definitely some particle effects to spice it up, and some flavor/detail text about the towers,
A pop up on new enemy types etc.
You did a great job making me feel like I was invested in the game, some extra information during gameplay would have been great.

Absolutely love the whole back story! What a grim ending... but I love it!
I agree with some of the other comments that the UI could have been larger and some extra info on what the towers did would have been very nice.
Another easy way to spice it up is to add some particle effects when the projectiles hit the orcs and some particles when the orcs die.
Great job! :D
