very cool idea! A very nice game! Good job!

It'll be nice if you check out our game too😁

Developer

Thank you very much! I'll definitely check yours out too!

This was a fun game, and a cool take on the theme, Great job! My only critique is having more variety in the game, overall fun to play!

Developer

Thank you!

Good game!

The only problem is that from some places in the map you can't save the alarm so you have to lose...

I would also add two more thing, randomize the poisons position and tell the player that the end goal is (and maybe a little back story).

Developer(+1)

Thank you! There is no end goal besides going for as long as possible, I agree that I should've included a score system or something for that. I wish I could've added more random elements for replayability but you know how game jams with time limits go...

I think your game definitely fit the theme very well. There were collectibles and you had to go here and there! Pretty sure a nuclear power plant doesn't have employees running around collecting coolant and fuel, haha xD But it was very fun! GG

The only thing that I didn't like very much was the repeating sound it kinda became bad after playing it for a while. And your game has the famous - 'moving sideways makes your player go faster' problem (or feature? Depends on the person playing the game). I wasn't bothered by it in any way because it made me reach the reactor reset button quicker.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! I've never made music before and I just threw it together real quick before I submitted the game, and I agree that it can get repetitive after some time. I didn't really know about the moving faster diagonally thing, it definitely wasn't intended and I'll need to keep that in mind for the future :P

The idea is interesting, it just needs to be expanded and exploited. Making more levels and concepts, building more complex mechanics based on the simple concepts..

Great job still. keep it up!

Tell me your opinion of my game when you can! :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I played your game and really liked it, I rated it but I must have forgotten to leave a comment :P

I was really impressed by the lighting effects, especially considering I still haven't figured out how to do lighting in gamemaker

Light systems in game maker are tricky. I use surfaces and shaders on my game to get the effect done.

Nice job! It was fun.

The music was nice

After some minutes of playing it just becomes too repetitive, something like opening rooms would make the game fell better (going further to get the collectibles), or some unexpected errors in the reactor for example.

Overall a good game :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to add some kind of door or obstacle or something but I was afraid of missing the deadline so I focused on polish instead. I'm really happy you liked the music since I've never made music before and threw it together really quickly as an afterthought!

Amazing! I really liked how the game feels and looks. Very creative :)

I also really like the sense of urgency you feel while playing this.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, it means a lot! I spent a while trying to make it as frantic as possible so I'm glad it paid off.

simple and fun little game :)

I specially liked the explosion VFX >_<

although it gets really repetitive after couple of minutes , it would help if there was more diversity and a reward for the player , like a score system maybe ?

plenty of room to evolve ;)

would appreciate if you could checkout our submition as well ;)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! The explosion was one of my favorite additions while working on it. I was thinking about a score system but there wasn't enough time to add it in the end, but I might continue working on it later on to add more features like that!
