How does your game apply the limitation (and optionally, the theme)?
You play as a bee working for her dying queen (her boss, on the edge of dying). Also, every enemy spawns on the edge of the screen, so you have to keep an eye on the edges at all times.

The aesthetic is wonderful. Very much reminds me of Yoshi's Island.
Unfortunately, it makes the game a little hard to understand. It's not very clear what counts as solid ground, and what doesn't. Especially on the clouds level, where I couldn't even work out how to get to the flower.
The music was also charming, as were the sound effects.
Absolutely fair! The last level is indeed really inspired by the cloud levels of Yoshi's Island :)
If you're curious the path for the last level is :
1. Go to the far right and take the teleporter
2. Go to the teleporter on the left by doing some up and down on the vines and avoiding the birds
3. Go the far right, passing behind the gates
4. Take one of the green teleporters on top, it will teleport you to the flower and back to step 2
5. Re-navigate back to the top to the queen
Thanks for playing and the feedback :)
Really loved the art style! Plays just like a retro game. I think the puzzles might need to be a little more intuitive, like I didn't quite understand why stepping on a root would clear the path in the area above...then I just had to repeat that same process 3 more times with nothing else changed. Or was there something else I missed? I ended up getting a game over on the second level because I just didn't really understand why I needed to collect 4 flowers if I was just repeating the exact same actions for each one. But for real, you nailed the aesthetic you were going for and I love the opening cutscenes and different difficulties.
Really fair points ! The repetition is really for endurance sake. Since the levels are short, repeating it gives a bit more weight to it, and the timing is different on each loop because of the enemies and platforms.
But I agree, I almost changed the repetition requirements on the last day, but was too afraid to break something. I think I might add a number of loops setting in the future ( or maybe add more loops the farther you get)
Well, anyway, thank you for playing, the feedback and the kind words !
The movement is neat! Liking the retro arcade style.
Thanks ! Really was the vibe I was going for
Wow, beautiful game! The introduction is stunning.
I felt like the controls were a bit clumsy, or perhaps it is just an excuse for me being bad at it hahah, but I couldn't get to the end and eventually gave up on the third level.
I feel like the controls really are an acquired taste, the grid stuff seems to really be counter-intuitive. Every level is unlocked from the start if you ever want to try the last one.
Anyway, thank you so much for playing and your great comment :)
This game is incredible! So fun to play, and the music is really well suited to the style.
Thank you so much for the kind words ! Really glad you had fun :)
Game is very cute and looks nice. The platforming controls could use some polish, but overall good job!
Thank you for playing, I'd love to hear what kind of refinement you're thinking of :)
Very cute & fun ! Loved the art.
Took me a little while to realize I had to walk on the roots to unlock the path to the flowers on the first & 2nd level.
appart from that very solid game. Great job !
Yeah I see how they can blend in !
Thank you for playing :)
First of all, the music was great, the art was fun too. The mechanics needed some getting used to but it was fun overall.
Thanks for playing and for the comment :)
