I'm sure its a good game but on my device it ran really slowly so I couldn't do much. I am assuming you didnt multiply all values by Time.deltatime? If you do that in the future it would make the game run at the same speed no matter the FPS
Boy, these snowmen are not messing around. This reminded me a bit of getting mugged. :p
The basic idea is solid. The visuals are cohesive, although the walk animation is a bit janky.
To make the game a bit more forgiving, I would do two things: First, increase the move speed. Second, allow the player to continue on the day on which they died. Having to start over from Day 1 every time feels unnecessary when we're trying to memorize the layout of a new level.
This game's idea is very good and I liked the animations of the snow man a lot. I just could not beat it though. I fell off by the snowmen and I had to restart. I don't think I would be able to last 7 days. The best I got was 2.
so far this is my favorite game of the jam
So first of all, a really neat concept. I especially liked the idea of the snowmen not actually being able to harm you, just throw you into the freezing ocean.
Gameplay: it was just soooooo sloooowwwww. It got very monotinous, and when you died, it was more a, "awww commee oonnn! I have to do that alll ooovvvveeerrr agggaaaiiiinnnn" instead of the "Darn it! One more try!" feeling that you usually want from a game like this
Music/SFX: the Sound effects were quite cool, and added some character, but I really wish there was some background music instead of just the wind howling
Graphics: The post-processing was nice, but the pixel art needs a bit more work. The player having more than just two frames of walking made it soon very stale, and it would have been nice for a buttom prompt to appear when you can interact with something
