Found myself really enjoying the bouncy groove, and wishing it was a bit longer which is a good sign haha
Outstanding work!
Hehehe, thank you so much, that is definitely a good sign!
I like that you took a different approach to the theme and kept it rather chill. I just hope everyone comes out alive with that track playing on their way to the exit. :D Especially enjoyed the contrast between flute and synth and the alarm-like sound in the end to build tension!
Thanks a lot! Yes, had to rush and go add some bombastic tension at the end, because it was becoming just too chilly for the theme! ;)
Love that unique sound you have chosen for the end of the piece, is that a synth? Appreciate the effort put into the home page. The drums seem a tad loud compared to everything else in the mix but that could just be my speakers. Great job with creating tension with the transition between the flute and what sounded like a guitar with pedals or synth!
Indeed, if you refer to the "choir grunts" it is a synth pad called "Brooklyn" coming with Halion Sonic 7. Thanks a lot for the kind words and feedback!
Rather chill groove for calmly making one's way to the emergency exit, no panicking! Love the intro with the guitar and flute. At 0:23 where you have the guitar and flute layered for the melody, I felt the attack on the flute was a little too slow. Nice transition to the next part and the grunts and dissonant guitar provided some nice tension. Percussion was nice and punchy.
Thanks a lot for your comment, glad you liked it!
