Hex Map is great! There will never be enough in the world. I appreciate the foreword that encourages ripping the adventure up, new GMs may need the reminder.
Hexes are succinct and super easy to read and parse. The "Script" section is an inspired stroke of design. Extremely table-friendly.
Well done! I like it a lot!
Your hex map is dope. Also I really like how you opened the adventure:
"Intrigue has met its match with the riddles this module presents! Who are the Children of the Bat? What is the Soulstealer rampaging across the countryside? Where is the infamous Desert Hoard? When did the Sheriff of the town of Strange-Tune die? Why is a Sorcerer running for Sheriff? All will be revealed by intrepid and cunning adventures. For riches and infamy!"
It is a bit wordy but I think you're headed in the right direction here. maybe the 3 best lines could be used as grabbers in the new edition?
I agree I was being a bit cheeky and going with the "who, what, where, when, and why" trope of questions. Thanks for the kind words.
Nice hex crawl and call out maps
Love the tie-ins to the Weird Tales cover, the connection to sound and bats in a fantasy setting, and your connection to it in the real world.
The amount of tools and content you provided in these 8-pages is inspiring. Truly wonderful work!
Excellent work! You packed tons of content and even two short dungeons into eight pages. You also riffed off the weird tales covers excellently. Bravo.
