Just a really solid module. Interesting characters, lots of neat non-combat encounters, and imaginative overall. This would make a great hex-grid location and easily be placed into an already-existing campaign. Well done!
Engaging backstory. Found myself reading through and imagining the world, history, and lore...wanting to find the backstory of items. THAT is what any storyteller wants...investment. As the guy who watches the behind the scenes BEFORE the movie, and a lover of lore/history...this ticks all the boxes.
The layout is clean, and I love the art style...appreciating the time and thought of hand drawn maps. Cheers!
I really like your use of NPC generators, and your maps are awesome. Orignially I went for a similar style.
Nothing like a perilous tower. :)
The setting is good. Getting to the spire itself is an interesting task and the scenario offers various ways to accomplish it, as well as offering some enemies to make it harder. Once it gets to the actual, titular spire, it's still... alright. There are some interesting magical things to play with but the dungeon part lacks the feeling of urgency. The designer foresees some tricky situations and explains how to deal with them, which is what all scenarios should do.
Thank you very much for your feedback!
A really straightforward adventure with a really unique setting! I love the meteor town in the lake; really memorable. I like the hand-drawn maps and the charts to make encountered monsters more unique and memorable. Good work!!
Thanks for the kind words! I love hand-drawing maps.
