Ranked from 14 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
Fitted with a prosthetic jumping boot, a cat journeys to the top of a mountain to request the aid of a great spirit in hopes that it will save the village from the coming corruption. If the cat fails, there will be no way back home, because it will be destroyed.

Also, it's a rage platformer, so it sure as heck feels like there's no way back once you fall a long way :D

Did you choose to incorporate the limitation into your game? (Yes/No)
Yes

I managed to break it by getting stuck on the corner xD I managed to get some catnip :) Nice work

It's the first time I've ever experienced a mechanic quite like this. It was definitely rage inducing at moments but I really enjoyed it and the kitty with the jump boot is super cute! I also really liked the music...it had a calming effect when I'd get frustrated lol

It has that same rage inducing yet addicting quality that Sunset Overdrive has for me and I love that. Really nice job!

Quite need, sadly these kinds of games have never been my cup of tea but fear not my own bias will not get in the way of the score I think it deserves, equal parts frustrating but enjoyable in the end.

I appreciate you trying it out!

Damm, that was a delight to play. Unfortunatelly for you, I'm a man powered by music, so your amazing chill song here sabotaged your plans to make me rage hehe. I did sweat tho!

I really loved the challenge, and the mechanics are also pretty fun to master. I never played Jump King, but I can definitelly say it would have been 10 times better with wall jumps.

Althought some complaints I wanna make is that said wall jump is pretty poorly explained, I took very long to realize I needed to aim to the oposite wall to actually jump to it's direction.
And also something way more technical: the hitbox origin point is not perfectly on the middle of the player. I fell off a lot of times because I turned around and suddenly I wasn't on the edge of the platform anymore, this was the one thing that I can say that genuinelly annoyed me.

Anyway, gg, a shame the endscreen doesn't show my catnips, because I got all 4

Impressive!!! And thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! I'm gonna update the game after the voting period ends, and I'll be sure to incorporate your criticisms!

I didn't get to play test the game on anyone, so if anyone else catches a bug, or has a suggestion, please comment below! I'm all ears!

Infuriating indeed! Im not good at rage platformers at all but I really enjoyed the art and story! Great game, good job!

Thanks! I'm glad there was still something for you to enjoy!

I'm definitely not good at rage platformers!

But I love the artwork and the story intro, something about that poor kitten just squeezes my heart.

This is good, cool art! :)

But i can't progress the game, i'm just stuck at first level (Maybe i'm just suck at the game). The control is a bit hard, and i don't know how many jump charge i had. But this game looks like it has a great potential in gameplay and story.

That's it, keep up the great work! :D

Hope it wasn't too infuriating! Definitely could've used more playtesters. Sometimes it's hard to tell just how hard something is when you're the one making it!
