Really cool concept for a game! Loved how smooth everything was. The sounds were also really cool, and I loved the tutorial.

That said, I wish the game had a proper background and music - in addition, it felt wayy too hard - I wanted to make it to the end of it, but I ended up unable to pass the section after the huge chamber you have to meticulously pyll yourself through. The part where you needed to deliver the frozen eye with another eye to the sun by dangling it over the spikes between uneven surfaces and solid blocks was too much. Really love the concept though!

Likes:

+ The twins from Terraria are such little goobers :)

+ Unique tethering mechanic. Lends itself to fun physics puzzles

+ Tethering and launching yourself like Spiderman is fun to mess around with even when not progressing

Dislikes:

- Some puzzles can be a bit annoying to get through

- Almost no sound design (Except for the eyes which are perfect and should never be touched)

Cool use of mechanics and joints to make a game that is just fun to play around with!

Thanks for the critiques and taking the time to play it! The lack of sounds was mostly due to running out of time.

this is really an incredible game, the level design is really really good, you get to mess around with the mechanics a lot that's so cool! Who did the sound effects? that's some stellar voice acting that drives you mad when you die at the exact same point 50 times in a row.  Definitely one of my favorites of the jam (:

Thank you for the kind words. The voices are just me sped up/pitched up haha.

Pretty unique idea (for flowlab anyways) and has a lot of fun movement puzzles. My only issue with it is that the jumping feels a little inconsistent, but luckily that is heavily overshadowed by how cool the grappling mechanic is (nice work on getting that working so smoothly!)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah I think there might be a bug with the jumping. I did notice it's sometimes inconsistent but not sure why.

I played a bit earlier. Very interesting but very easy to softlock :[

Thank you. I tried to add a good amount of checkpoints to prevent that from happening. You can always respawn at your last checkpoint by pressing R.
