The player uses a polarity gun. Matching polarities will attract enemies and cause less damage, while opposite polarities will deal more damage and make enemies try to flee.

The graphics looks cool. I think it lacks an in-game tutorial because i needed to read the description in order to understand what's going on.
We were quite busy for a long time during the jam period, so we ended up finishing the game at the last minute. That's why we really didn't have time to include a tutorial, but we understand your point of view. Thank you for your feedback.
Awesome graphics! The game really lacks a tutorial, though. I was very confused until I read the description.

i liked the 2.5d graphics and the concept was very fun. controls were intutive and made sense. I also liked the setting. I feel like maybe the polarity meter woul be better if you jsut swapped or didnt lose health i didnt really get that part. Really cool idea though and can definantly see it being worked on more !
It was fun to play, but here are a few suggestions:
The graphics were a bit blurry
A tutorial in-game could have helped
The game got a little too chaotic too fast with the robots.
It could have been a bit less laggy
Here are some things I liked:
The graphics style was very nice,
The 2.5d aspect was something I've never seen before and was fun to mess around with
The notebook animations were really nice
Keep up the great work!
The game really gets chaotic after about 3 minutes to avoid excessively high scores, perhaps we overdid it with the balancing. As for the impression of the game looking a bit blurry, it was just a depth-of-field technique used in the camera. We're glad you liked the art style, and thank you so much for your feedback!
It was a lot of fun to play your game! The mechanics work great and bring a lot of fun. Great job! p.s. sorry, I made the game in a team and I didn't upload our game to the jam, so I can't rate your game. Here is our game https://itch.io/jam/wmj2024/rate/3212971
