Challenging game. I included it in my Wowie Jam 2.0 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

The controlls are really sensitiv. I know thats hard to get well for everyone, I have to take a note to myself, that I have to implement an adjust option in my own games for the future ;-) Congrats on uploading this nice little game! Iliked it

Developer

i don't know what you mean with sensitive controls, if you meant mouse sensitivity there's an option to change it in the game, it is located at the bottom-left of the title screen, anyway i'm glad you liked it.

Really liked the game. The gameplay felt incredibly fun and smooth once I got the hang of things. I especially enjoyed the roll. Only complaint I can think of is that the first two waves take a bit too long in my opinion. It's just a bit annoying having to play through them everytime I die. I feel like the game really starts to get good once there are multiple enemies and the flying bugs start spawning, but the first two waves just have the basic ground enemy (at least if I recall correctly) and most of the time you are just fighting them 1 on 1 which gets repetitive really quickly. That's really only just a nitpick though sorry if I came across as super critical. :)

Overall I really enjoyed this game. The core gameplay loop is super solid, and the art & sound are good too. It's one of the better games I've played in the jam so far and it's definitely my favorite 3d one in the jam. Great job!

That was something fresh!! Didn't play that many third person games in the jam! I  liked the feedback when hitting enemies and i felt like i had control over my character for dodging and avoiding the enemies attacks.  The downsides where the camera and the flat level, but some sacrifices have to be made in order to finish in time ^^ good job there!

Cool game!

I'm feeling like a proper TMNT!

You should clamp the camera though, sometimes the camera ends up under the floor...

Also, maybe show how many enemies are left in this wave, so youn know how close you are.

I couldn't understand how to beat the flying enemies, maybe they're just distractions?

Anyways, great!

Developer

The "how to play'' button in the game's menu and the video in the game's page explains how to kill flying enemies, simply press left-click at their bullet to reflect it back to them. Also you are right about the camera angle, it could've been better, anyway I'm glad you enjoyed it

Nice game ! So the intentional bugs are the enemies or I missed sometime ?

Developer(+1)

I intended for the enemies to be my game's bugs, but by some weird coincidence a useful bug appeared in gameplay where you sometimes deal double damage by tackling enemies, this made attacking more satisfying so I kept it. so technically both of them are correct

rar format is failing to extract.

Developer

Really? but it worked with other people, I don't know the solution for this I'm sorry

Submitted

I did some digging… rar requires downloading a custom extractor. .zip (windows) and .tar.gz (Linux/Mac) are more common compression formats.

Try not to use the default Godot buttons, they are ugly! :P The gameplay is good, but it is really hard to know if I hit the bug or not. If you had a few more days, this would have been an amazing game! Sadly, in its current state, it's just good. Definitely won't rank bad though! :)

Nice job! This was fun. Maybe a bit more feedback when hitting the enemy would be good.

Developer

i'm glad you enjoyed it! about the hit feedback there is already lightning, slight pause, hit sound effect and sometimes explosions when the enemy gets hit. i don't know what kind of feedback you mean, can you tell me?
