Thank you very much! Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Honestly this is the most unique game I've played so far in this jam. Really good take on the theme in my opinion. Gameplay is simple but pretty engaging (especially if you enjoy simple maths). I liked the 10 second timer forcing you to make decisions quickly. Added a nice amount of pressure to force you to think quickly but not enough to make it super stressful. Really enjoyed the game

Pretty simple concept but it was executed very well! The gameplay is pretty solid and is a nice challenge for the most part. The aesthetics were nice as well. I liked how there's a ton of variety in the items that fall down. Only issue I had was how stuff falls through the very edges of the platforms. Threw me off a couple times because I thought the items were gonna barely land on a platform but instead they just went through. Fun game though!

Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed it!

As someone who enjoys shooters, these type of games are always a treat. Really like the simplicity in this one. Not really any distractions disrupting gameplay or anything aside from the breaker, but you only use it as a last resort. Liked the aesthetics and sound as well. Also having an online leaderboard is a great touch. Fun game!

Really liked the game. The gameplay felt incredibly fun and smooth once I got the hang of things. I especially enjoyed the roll. Only complaint I can think of is that the first two waves take a bit too long in my opinion. It's just a bit annoying having to play through them everytime I die. I feel like the game really starts to get good once there are multiple enemies and the flying bugs start spawning, but the first two waves just have the basic ground enemy (at least if I recall correctly) and most of the time you are just fighting them 1 on 1 which gets repetitive really quickly. That's really only just a nitpick though sorry if I came across as super critical. :)

Overall I really enjoyed this game. The core gameplay loop is super solid, and the art & sound are good too. It's one of the better games I've played in the jam so far and it's definitely my favorite 3d one in the jam. Great job!

Liked the idea of catapulting yourself off ledges. Just wish there were more levels to expand upon that mechanic more since I thought it was pretty cool. Also personally I dislike the fact that you can hold the jump button and continuously jump. Platformers are generally about precision with your jumps so when I'm accidentally jumping a bunch it becomes harder to have complete control over my character. Regardless still enjoyed the game. Well done! :)

Really creative concept. Would have like to seen another level or more bugs, but for how little time this was made in I think it's pretty good. Well done!

Nice job on finding the Easter Egg! You're the second person I know of to find it :). I can look into the installation thing. This is the first game I've exported onto the internet for others to play so I'm still figuring stuff out. Glad you liked the game!

I appreciate the detailed feedback! Looking back on it, the ending with the hoppers is certainly not good level design lol. At the time when I was making it I had to finish the levels soon so I could begin working on other things, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the level design of the room was bad and the amount of hoppers was just unnecessary. Glad you still enjoyed the game and I really appreciate your honest feedback! :)

Really cool premise. Wish there were more levels especially since I enjoyed the levels that were there. Cool game!

Glad you enjoyed the game! Also I did indeed check out your game and left my thoughts in the comments. :)

I like the visual aesthetic this game has! The gameplay was also good too. I enjoyed all the different bugs, but my favorite by far had to be the speed one since it really spiced up gameplay. Would have liked to see more bugs like that to make gameplay more varied. Good game tho!

Very unique concept. The gameplay was pretty enjoyable as well. Nice job!

Unexpected... but the good kind, ya know? Like when you think there's only 1 cookie left in the cookie jar but then it turns out there's still 5 left. Really enjoyed the dialogue and premise. Only played long enough to get 3 different endings but they felt different enough to be enjoyable still. Good stuff!

Simple but the core gameplay was very addicting and fun. Also I like how it sorta fits both interpretations of the theme. Managed to beat it on normal but haven't tried hard yet. Fun game!

Also here is my highscore

For such a simple premise I had a ton of fun playing this game. I felt like I had a lot of control over my character's movements with the knockback and it was also just generally fun to do. Only nitpick I can think of is lack of polish but it's a game jam so that's perfectly acceptable. Good stuff!

I think I found some unintentional bugs tho

1. The score counter ticks up when I'm shooting bullets offscreen meaning I'm probably killing bats before they get onscreen.

2. While being midair and having a ceiling above your head if you shoot downwards for some reason it allows you to shoot really fast without a cooldown (now that I think about it that may be intentional but I might as well mention it).

With that said none of these things stopped me from having fun and are nitpicks at best. Just trying to give helpful feedback so you can improve! This was definitely one of the funner games I've played in the jam so far! :)

The plan was certainly for it to end with a boss fight but I ran out of time for that. Glad to hear you still enjoyed it!

Thank you! Yea, the sounds were the last things I implemented and didn't have enough time to add as many as I wanted, but I didn't worry about too much since it's just a game jam. The game is meant to be on the harder side but I'll definitely take that checkpoint thing into consideration. Thanks for the feedback!

Also here is my PB :)

Really enjoyed it! The gameplay was fun to control and responsive, and the story was entertaining as well. Also the art and sound were great too.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Very interesting concept. Would have liked to seen the walk through walls backwards bug explored a little bit more, but regardless still a fun game. Also the boss fight was cool. Well done!

Didn't get too far but I did enjoy it quite a bit. Felt like I had a lot of control over the slug so that was nice. Cool game!

Pretty addicting gameplay loop. The dash mechanic was cool as well.

Really enjoyed the puzzle designs. Good stuff!

So simple yet so satisfying. Really enjoyed this game! Smashing through the walls never got old lol.

The swinging mechanic felt super good. Fun game!

Attempted to Speedrun it since I enjoyed it so much. Here is my best time so far

This game is such a joy to play. I don't know how you did it, but the gameplay just felt sooooo smooth and polished. As someone who plays a ton of 2d platformers, the gameplay was something unique and refreshing (regardless of how simple it is). The pixel art and sound also blended well together in my opinion. Also it definitely follows along with the theme of course. Great stuff!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Really impressive visuals for a game jam. Loved the aesthetic. Did not expect someone to make a third person shooter for this theme but the gameplay was actually fun and satisfying. It only left me wanting more :)

Cool concept! The gameplay was fun and relaxing in a way. Encountered a issue where there was an enemy walking back and forth where the cookie was and boop got stuck jumping in place (it happened on the last level). Thankfully there was a restart button lol.

Short and sweet! Pretty nice artstyle and sound. The last level had me stuck for a bit because I couldn't find the solution but eventually I figured it out. Would have liked to seen the rolling down slopes explored a bit more because I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I realize it's hard to make a bunch of levels for a game jam. Cool concept!
