Awesome sound and graphics, very fun to play. I like that the time stops in shop / other places of interest and the small details like snow-ish effects and highscore new (insted of new highscore).

The only two points that didn't feel great for me were:
- The laser seemed like it was flying high in the sky, which confused me at first.
- It really isn't obvious that you have a double jump! :D

5/5  Nice visuals ,very good sounds an interesting mechanic. Also find it very cool that you have different soundtracks for the of lives you have.

Great job!

This is the best Are You Planning To Slug fangame :)

Seriously though, there are some really clever design bits here, I loved the hazardous snail-trail which forced me to move out and explore the space - and then when I did, I actually found things here and there :)

I wish some things were explained a little more - for example, I only found out I could double jump after quite a few tries. I'd also like to know what the white collectibles do ^^

Even though I can't really see how it fits the topic, it's one of the best submissions I played so far IMO

Thank you so much ^^ Well i wish i explained more myself,so the fault is up to me. Sadly many things left out. The white collectibles are supposed to be the currency that stays between  runs and you spend it on a shop for visual upgrades (recolors for example).

About the topic, i am trying to explain a little bit in the descriptions, which also i planned to convey through a cutscene but of course i run out of time on this also... xD I did many mistakes in my planning and lost so much time at prototyping!   Need to make better planning next time!

With the feedback of you and the others i will try to make it better :D I greatly appreciate taking the time to play! Ty ;)

It's really nice that you're planning to keep up the development. If you have an updated version, be sure to post it in our Discord and I''ll try to check it out :)

Planning is quite important, I feel. It was also tough for us and we had to cut multiple features and mechanics for the jam version - after all we decided to make a full metroidvania during the jam which was already a crazy decision and probably not the best planning haha. But we also want to keep developing it.

Cool game! :D

The visuals look awesome, and the game has a pretty fun and addictive gameplay loop.
I think power-ups should spawn  a bit more frequently, because I traveled to the end of the world without finding one, which was a bit confusing.

Thank you so much! I totally agree with you! Generation is pretty random and there is a lack of power ups and points of interest in the map. I am already working on it ^^ Thanks for your feedback!

Really cool game! I liked the game play, haven't played a game like that before. It's beautifully simple and has quite the difficulty curve. I think you should expand this, or at the VERY least use this mechanic/game play in a larger game somewhere, you've got something great in your hands. Well done!

Very polished, nice to play and challenging!
Good stuff! Stay funky,

Looks so good!  The distance blurring; glowing on everythin; while keeping to a simple presentation - really nice!  The area was huge I somehow wandered all the way to the top border and left borders of the world without finding a single powerup; but then on my walk back around I did start to find speed upgrades and things.  :D

Awesome job!
