hey i finally got to play your game. Overall nice idea (: I would personally maybe change it so the character follows the mouse or find a way so turning feels a bit more dynamic, as it is quite hard to dash or move at the right place, when you want to. Maybe just speeding up the rotation would allow that. Really fun overall!

The tank controls take some time to get used to, but the game is fun with a nice soundtrack
Very fun game about weird controls. Maybe shooting instead of dash killing would be easier and funnier
It was fun to play the game. but the number of controls are too much that I cant keep track on all of them. may be u should split them so that we can use both hands to controls
It's really good I enjoyed it and it remembered me of Dani's game named "balls"
I didn't like the controls they feel really weird but it's a great game :D
Amazing! Simplistic, colourful, bloomy! I really love this style of games!
Please consider rating my game too ^ ^
The game is amazing, but controlling the character, as others said, is TOO DIFFICULT! Like, I couldn't even kill the enemy with red spots... It just is too difficult, but otherwise the game is WOWIEEEE!
The idea is good, but the controls are really bad. It's just not fun when you cant turn where you want to. Everything else was good. I'd suggest removing the a/d turning and just make it point to the mouse pointer
Very fun game ! The music matches well the gameplay and it is overall well finished. But a bit too hard to move and should have be nice to have a death feedback, I did not understand what just happened the first time. Also the fact that the "intentional" bugs were explicitly advertised is not my favorite type of topic's usage. I would have preferred more subtle ones
Thanks! Just to clarify, there is death feedback with sound and strong shake, but you mean in terms of just suddenly restarting the scene then yeah fair enough. Actually, from a game design perspective, I've thought about this quite a lot and looking at other games, it's very important to gameify the bugs. They should be reasonably telegraphed and feel like somewhere in between bugs and features, rather than total bugs or total features. I think ours is very placed in that balance, but I get that might not be your preferred use of the theme. Thanks so much for the feedback!
I get what you say but I guess what I wanted to point out is I also liked a lot some games where non advertised bugs take you by surprise or when you discovere them by yourself. You feel like it's a real bug and/or you are beating the game, exploiting a bug at your benefit (even though we expect that in this game jam so the effect is diminished ^^)
quite hard but in an enjoyable way. Sound and visuals are good and the music slaps
Wow that game is really hard! You could add another mode, where you can control the arrow either with the mouse or having the rotation angle not being accelerated while you turn.
The visuals and the sounds are great! :-)
Pretty fun game! Cool particle effects and music, all the different glitches such as the glitched AI in the enemies were super cool and creative, and the dash was fun to use.
My one gripe would be the fact that the player character is really hard to control for me, and I had trouble dashing into enemies and pickups. Also the dash sound seemed a bit unfitting.
Nice game, great submission !
Just watch out that there are maybe a little too much controls (8 buttons seem a lot for this kind of game) and Ctrl+Z close the tab on Google Chrome so your HTML game is immediately closed xD
Thank you! But you don’t need Z haha. But yes we didn’t introduce the gameplay over time smoothly enough I think. Although we really thought dodging was important for the game, and then when Steve added the CTRL to turn around, that became a really useful back up plan type move. I see that it can be overwhelming.
A fun challenging game, the art style is nice and simple, the screen shake is on point. Great job!
