I too got the bug where I move really really slow.
I have 144hz monitor too.
Looked cool tho!
Nice game! But I got stuck on a level (the ones with the snakes) and I can't get up to the platform to get to the door. A tutorial would've been nice. Also, it would be better if you showed more of the level and less of the cave texture, since it's pretty small. Otherwise it's really good.

It's nice. Sadly the physics are bugged when played on a 144hz monitor. (I move VERY slow..)
Also the Visible Space is top left. (Maybe put it into the center?) I can't see the players when they are spawned, as they are too much left to be seen.
And the dark spots (where you can't see the characters) aren't really nice. I had multiple problems with them.
All in all it's nice, because you didn't just use unity (as I did). Only some small problems, but hey: It's a game jam! There are bugs and problems allowed!

It's a really creative use of the theme , but I was confused by the game mechanic and I got stuck on the level with the snakes, a tutorial or some guidance would have been nice.

I just can play up to the point the fire pokemon has to kill the plant but this level is so buggy I dont get any further

I cant play the game, im using windows 10 and im opening the .exe in the unziped folder but the game just opens and closes.
