The art style is great.

I didnt get a chance to play with anyone but i know how hard multiplayer can be so well done on that front.

Developer

Thank you, glad you liked the art style. Yeah, it certainly can be especially since we were new to it.

Oh wow thats even more impressive.

I made a multiplayer game for the jam last year, but i did it  in Unreal engine, which is far more newbie friendly when it comes to networking.

This is a really cool, on theme, shooter, I wish my friends weren't busy doing the new Final Fantasy raids so that I would have some people to try it with in multiplayer.

I am honestly really impressed. Good Job.

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. :)

Like the idea and the artistic blocking style. Only experience I had was was singleplayer but the surprise mechanic certainly got a chuckle from me. I feel your standard movement speed should be sped up and the jumps feel less floaty but all in all a solid job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, glad it made you chuckle. We'll definitely take the movement speed etc into consideration going forward.

Excellent concept and after discovering the left shift sprint made better time around the map. I agree the music needs changing but taking into account the constraints of what is achievable in 48 hours, the game has real potential. I would love to see a huge library of object ordinance, as the random objects is what makes the game. I look forward to playing the full version next year. Good work Shamble Games, big potential in front of you.

Thank you very much for the great feedback. :) We're glad you loved the concept.

Great game, nicely put together for a 48 hours game !! i love how you fit the suprise element into the game, i don't like the slow movement, and the music doesn't fit, plus adding sfx could be nice.

would be interessted in a full release ! And a single player mode is something i'm interessted in.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yep we are planning to develop this idea further into a full game, as for your critics thank you we'll take them into account (Was sprinting also too slow or just the walking, it was procedurally generated animation/walking so it does require a lot of tweaking.) As for a single player mode this is definitely something we are thinking of/going to be adding with future development. I'm also glad you liked the idea and game. :)

truthfully i didn't know spriting was available on the game ! Which spraks out another issue : the abscence of a tutorial. I wish you luck on your journey !

Even though it's unfinished, it's really impressive you made this in 48 hours. The prop gun was hilarious, I expected it to slow the game down but the FPS seemed pretty solid.

The mouse look was a little sluggish for my tastes, it would be nice if there was an option to adjust that :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, that helps a lot. We'll consider the mouse issue going forward with development, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Level design was nice and the music was good. Had trouble actually playing multiplayer as when I shot one player there was no indication on their screen that they had died (their camera just froze). Could be the starting point of a good project though!

Developer

Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yeah we ran out of time at the end to implement a win condition, I was learning the serverside coding on the fly so that took a fair amount of time. We are gonna continue to develop it though into a proper game :)

Very cool concept, and well made game, was even fun single player just shooting horses and ladders at building lol. Well done!

Developer

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it XD

It is a good concept and you did well to have all models made and textured in time, the camera freeze is a bug that can be fixed with more time in later development, overall though fun game :)

Thanks for the feedback, yeah we very much just ran out of time at the end. I was learning networking on the fly so that slowed us down a bit but we like the idea and are considering making it into a proper game.

It was cool and I totally see what you wanted to do there !! Music is..thrilling, environment is cool and I like the idea of shooting pretty much the WHOLE TOWN as an ammo to your gun...yeah, cool game, keep it up !

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.  :)

fun game, love the concept, game play itself is just a little slow and it seems to crash when you get hit by another player

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, when your hit your player ragdolls but like you said it freezes the camera. We didn't have quite enough time to iron everything out plus I was learning the multiplayer from scratch lol XD which took a fair amount of time but we are gonna continue to develop it outside the gamejam, as like you said we think the concept is good. Thanks for the feedback :)
