The platforming is a bit difficult for me, maybe it would be good to slow down the jumping but it all works pretty well otherwise.

Nice use of the caveblazers modifier!

If you could check out my submission here, that would be great! https://lilopkins.itch.io/oil-me-up

I tried loading your game but I think you need GMS for it to work? As in, it's not an exported game and is still a project of some kind? I might be wrong -- let me know if I'm just being dim because it looks like other people are managing fine.

I think it's a weird hybrid where you only need GameMaker's framework stuff to run it. When you look at the size the file when it tries to run its installer it should be around 18 mb. However we already had GameMaker installed on our computers so I don't know for sure. I would've uploaded a zip but it was past submission time so I was worried we'd break the rules. However, now that voting is over, we're trying to upload a zip version too.

Nice game! I found it interesting how enemies disappeared after you hit them, making it easier for yourself in previous runs. You might be able to make something really cool with that mechanic if you decided to expand upon this game in the future.

This game cured me of depression and my food poisoning. The journey from left to right across the screen demonstrates the sheer determination the main character feels in order to come to the aid of his friend, and it really highlights the strength of the human spirit as a social species. Props to the artist behind this cinematic masterpiece.

Love the art style of the game but for some reason I kept getting stuck on the map geometry. Good Job :)
