Voice acting is fantastic. Really makes half this game!
If you could check out my submission here, that would be great! https://lilopkins.itch.io/oil-me-up

thank you
This is one of the best games in the jam! The voice acting is on point, it plays very well as a visual novel, and you can even save! Thats amazing for a jam game! As others have said, the music can be a bit loud sometimes, but thats my only complaint. Great plot. Great game, 10/10 would be Rabs again
really like the concept, you've nailed all the characters! well done its great
Thanks to everyone who's played and enjoyed the game so far!
Based on your feedback I've patched in the following (only in my dev build currently, because AFAIK I'm not allowed to change the game file while voting is still happening):
- Added a menu option with sliders to adjust music and voice volume independently from one another
- Turned down default music volume
- Fixed some incorrectly labelled audio files (Pyrion's endings and a double-up with Simon in his starting dialogue.)
Regarding that last point, please do let me know if you've caught any other mistakes as the audio mapping was a bit of a rush job at the end of the project, and I'm sure there must be another slip-up or two somewhere!
I'm also working on adding VA for Ravs, a few sound effects, and adding a couple more endings.
Thanks again,
Happy Festag!
The voice acting was a unique twist which I loved (though sometimes the background music was a touch too loud!) And the art was fantastic.
Also, Pflax was great. Good work!
This had some funny writing. I could imagine Ravs voice in each of line of his script as well. :)
Really well done! The voice acting and music were fantastic. I didn't come across any new issues to tell you about, so good job!
Some really nice writing in this, and I liked the art style a lot. Good stuff.
I liked your game and its style but was kinda sad that I got spoiled on the Civ game. I was going to watch that later. You were already told about the sound levels and text being off a little and those were my only issues. Overall I feel like this is a game I wouldn't mind coming back to if it got polished up.
Ah, sorry, I didn't even think of that! Once I can update it, I'll put in a dialogue choice for Ravs/Simon to refuse the question because he doesn't want to be spoiled either. Your sacrifice won't be in vain!
Thanks for the other feedback: I've already fixed a lot of it in my dev build so I'll try and put out a more finished version post-jam.
I hope you enjoyed it despite the spoiler :<
I love the voice over. Sad that ravs doesn't have one though.
Didn't play the entire game, but only because I wasn't up for reading a lot of text.
I played through that entire bloody game and I enjoyed every second of it. There were some bugs with the mouths and text and the music was louder than the voices but that was bizarre enough tow in me over, good job.
