Really enjoyed the feel of the controls. The graphics were also spot on!

Although I've seen a few games with this general premise, I feel yours was the easiest to use thanks to your implementation of the aiming dots. I also really enjoyed the graphics!

The 3D assets were really well done. As for the mini games, I couldn't get the Simone says one to work and the memory one was a bit laggy. Overall though this game has a lot of promise!

Great game, though I encountered a bit of trouble with the way the UI overlaps. The concept and art are very cool and unique though!

I enjoyed the art and game play, though it was a bit hard for me. I think the ability to move up and down may have made dogging the enemies a bit easier, especially when you are already slowed.

I like the whole 2.5D approach you are going for, I would suggest trying to modify the arc of the presents to also fit that style. Overall though very creative.

Very nice! Love the graphics and overall theming!

Cool take on the deliver presents from the sleigh concept! My only minor complaint was the chimneys were a bit hard to hit but I could just be bad.

Me and the boys getting ready for the crusade be like. Bad jokes aside, nice sprite work.

Simple but incredibly fun! Nice take on the theme too!

Very fun and well developed! Love the art style!

My god that intro was fantastic. Game play was a bit simplistic but sound effects and art design were on point.

Super impressive for just 48 hours! Had a lot of fun with this one!

Very nice aesthetic! I think I wasn't understanding the hide mechanic well though, but I enjoyed what I was able to get through!

At the moment we are unsure if we will be continuing the project but there is a definite possibility. We recognize the sound effect design could use a little polish (it was one of the last things we added) but thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Nice game! I found it interesting how enemies disappeared after you hit them, making it easier for yourself in previous runs. You might be able to make something really cool with that mechanic if you decided to expand upon this game in the future.

Figured I'd add my game to this list as well: https://itch.io/jam/yogscast-game-jam/rate/535868

Very cool! Enjoyed the art style and story!

Very nice! I've seen other games with a similar theme, but I really enjoyed the color system!

Really enjoyed the art and music! Would love to hear more about this if you continue to work on it post jam.

Decided to give this game a try because I also used Game maker so I could run it in it's un-exported state.  Its a good start and the menu at the beginning is pretty neat. I would suggest double checking some of your hit boxes, and maybe reducing the amount of "enemies" in the levels.

I really enjoyed this game, had a nice aesthetic and the randomly generated rooms were fun. Minor thing: occasionally the circular fireball platforms seemed a bit harsh with what they counted as off the edge when transitioning to a square platform. Other then that the game was really smooth!

Posted this in another comment chain too but we took a bit of a risk and made the "giving" aspect a bit more subtle, the general theme we tried to get across was that through giving, the world becomes a "brighter" place. Maybe we might have wanted to make that more explicit through some more text (other then the brief snippet at the end), maybe an intro at the beginning would have been helpful.

Absolutely fantastic! Love the comic too!

It's not too long, shouldn't take more then a few minutes.

I'll throw my hat into the ring too!

(Btw played both of y'alls games and they were great!)

Great art and music! Really enjoyable with a very distinct and polished look and feel.

Fun game with good sprite work!

Art was great. Bit of a difficulty jump as soon as it requires you to use gravity rather then straight lines but a fun mechanic/game overall!

Very fun and simple. If I had one suggestion, I might make player 2's controls the default for player 1 (or give the option to pick). That being said, I appreciated the little design consideration such as greying out boxes you could pick up or  being able to pick up boxes not just to your left and right but above and below you too.

Really enjoyed the concept, as well as the Binding of Isaac vibes. Unfortunately there are a few bugs but I think if you continued to work on the project after the jam you could have something really cool here!

Really cool game! I like it's clear relation not only to the theme but also to the stream. I wished there was a bit more explanation on the mechanics at the start of the game and the blue cards seemed to pile up quite a bit relative to the red ones. Overall though its a neat concept, good job!

I was a huge fan of the curved screen affect! If I had one minor note it would be that the presents always move relative to the chimneys/houses rather then the sleigh (which means you can place your mouse at the height of the chimneys and click whenever a chimney touches your mouse to greatly improve the chances of you landing the present). I feel like it might be interesting fro a timing perspective to to have the presents move with the sleigh. That being said, it was a lot of fun and the pixel art was very cute.

This game is a lot of fun, and its so simple too! It made me question how well I know English though lol. I also love how the time limit decreases as you go on because "give game" a good sense of pace and stakes.

Awesome game! Really neat take on the concept of giving. Fan of the aesthetic and game play choices.
