I really like the overall aesthetic and design of the game.  The characters and sprites all fit together so well with the music and sound design.

One change I might make is stopping you from using the hammer whilst using the trolley because you can very quickly flip direction with the trolley to hit things

I loved every minute of this game! I love the wacky characters, the sound design, and the gameplay itself! Congratulations to everyone involved! I found myself micromanaging when to pick up the cart and when to defend myself from the shoppers. It was very engaging and I'm amazed at how you managed to do this in only two days!

Developer(+1)

Thanks man! Glad you liked it!

Cool little game, I like how overpowered the hammer is.

Just a bit of advice: since walking with the cart is slower, it makes the most sense for the player to leave the cart at checkout and just bring the items straight there in their hands. To enforce the use of the cart and make more of a shopping feeling, you could instead make it so players can't carry items, only the cart, and they roll over items to pick them up, and the cart gets heavier as it's filled up. Then the players are always choosing between loading up the cart a lot or just a little, and will defend it more fiercely.

Thnx! That worked, was a bit confused at first what the goal of the game was. But I figured it out when I saw the 'F1 Help'. :)

Wasn't expecting so many levels though!

If Earth Worm Jim and Toe-Jam and Earl had a baby, this would be it!

Developer

No they wouldn't because humans by nature are bisexually reproductive, but the thought was nice! +1 ^^

Liked the art and the game concept. It reminds me of some crazy people at Black Friday.

Developer

Thanks! The quirky characters are meant as a reflection of how my sanity has slowly drifted away these last few days! ^^

Cool idea and pretty well made. Reminds me a little of some promotional game I've seen speedran in the past. Good job!

Developer
