Really peaceful game. It didn't feel like the difficulty was increasing right away. I could tell after a while but the ramp up could probably be made a bit more obvious. The controls were great and the hitboxes felt very fair. I liked how I could pass behind a tree without getting hit. Loved the song as well. You did a good job making it feel wintery. Well done!
thanks! I didn't want to make it too difficult too quickly, but it seems I made it too easy instead. Also I'm glad you noticed the hotboxes!
It's funny how you did the opposite of the theme hahaha. The graphics in this are cute and clean. Gameplay is pretty barebones but it functions well. Good job on completing this!

It might be interesting and rewarding to tinker with the player movement speed values in order to find something that is both challenging and doable. Personally, I feel as though the player could move more slowly and the trees could move more quickly.
This could also introduce avenues of added complexity; You can modify those values partway through the game to create a difficulty curve. (I recommend the research and use of the "Tween" node for this, since I saw you were using Godot)
I had some issues with value-setting myself; my game used to be outright unfair, but I made the whole thing move slightly slower and now it's just hear-tearingly hard.
While making the game, I didn't really know how quickly to scale the difficulty up, since I was worried I might find the game easy but others might find it difficult. The complexity does go up though, but IMO it doesn't really get too hard until around 100 - 150 seconds. The trees' velocity and spawn rate go up, and it caps at about 230. I was also thinking about making the player go faster or slower depending on the speed of the trees, but I didn't end up doing that.

Relaxing with smooth controls.
If you stand on your head while playing it you will see a pinguin going uphill - this will fix the game when it comes to the Theme :D

Nice game idea, a true classic! I really like the movement and it looks great, the collisions are pretty good, good job with that, even if it doesn't fit 100% with the theme I understand the idea very well ^^

Quite a relaxing game, works well on Android and is fun to play when youre too tired to do anything energetic. The music is a bit too sharp for my ears but other than that great job!
I found that the music sounds weird depending on the speaker, it sounds fine on my headphones but pretty bad on my phone.
I just realized the theme was going up, not down /: Oh well.
