The mage cat animations on the side are very cool. They give it a sense of eerieness like they are more powerful than us. Good idea about adding the keyboard controls on the screen as cues.

While the game looks cool, the amount of information I have to learn at first to play it feels a little overwhelming for me. Starting the level easy and incrementally making it harder would be a nice idea if you’re thinking of doing a future update. Having some more text / icon or sound cues when interacting with things would also be nice because with all the icons sometimes I’m not fully sure if I’m doing the right thing. I’m also not sure if there’s an end of the level or if just keeps playing, as I don’t really see health bars and I’m not sure, when the cats disappear, if it was me who defeated them, or they just left.

I’m a bit bad with fast paced games like this, so I might be out of the norm! It looks really good though and I think if it were a bit more incremental and had a little tutorial I might adjust better to it.

Sounds clues and made, just forgot to add them … my bad on that part.

The level is gonna end, there is purposefully no HP bar for the wizards , so they feel more erie, but they do have visual indication on HP levels. Losing the staff or an eye as they get lower and lower.

Tutorial sadly I ran out of time to do, would love to include a better one in the future, good point!

Thanks for trying it out even though it is not your genre, and for the kind words. The game indeed get’s hectic and chaotic, even for me, but it was one of the design goals to achieve kinda panicky-chaos state in the player at later phases, just so that the power of the wizards get through.

I do have ideas for future updates, will see if I will get to them eventually (planning or more Wizards for ex, and having the game choose randomly 3 of them at the start).
