Nice game, but a bit on the heavy side.

The visuals as nice, as is expected of an Unreal Engine game. However, the game didn't have V-sync on by default and it was unnecessarily loading my GPU with FPS above what my monitor can handle.

The camera work is really nice! However, for some reason the game starts with all 5 of Advent in the field but apparently it's meant to be only a party of 4? Sometimes the camera wouldn't let me see some of the characters to heal them and the UI at the bottom only showed 4 characters, so I never saw what Shiori's (character number 5) status was.

I have no clue what the buttons at the end of the fight do, except for the middle one that clearly states it raises stats.

I wish I could use items during the fight to replenish MP and perform more skills.

Somehow I expected a full heal after getting the "you cleared the game" screen but instead I went into battle with a dead party member and almost no MP/HP on the rest of them.

Oh yeah, sometimes Fuwawa got stuck near the enemy position, not returning to her spot, so it was impossible to cast heals on her.

Finally... please consider a smaller scale world model if you're not gonna fully utilize it in the game. 1.5GB is a large download for just a pretty looking background.

Thanks for playing!!

Oh interesting. Next time I'll add an options menu for vsync and other settings.

Yeah... The framework originally only supported 4 members, and then I hacked in another slot without changing much else

Had to also shove in the "rogue like" element for the theme. The middle button actually doesn't do anything 😫. While the other 2 give voice lines at least.

I initially thought using items in battle would be too strong, but it seems like it'd be better to be able to

Ah yeah, being able to enjoy the post game fights would be nice...

Oh man that Fuwawa bug 😭. I had problems when they would soft lock the game too

So that single level was actually most of the file size 😅. Just checked and the lighting alone took up 768MB. I'll definitely look into ways to reduce that. Other big offenders were 4k textures and a lot of duplicated animations.

But yeah could've used a lot more of the map to make the most of that environment. I didn't really have an easy way to downscale it unfortunately.

Thank you for all the work reviewing!
