Is Jarrod's political marriage route locked for the widow? I had all the other requirements (75 beauty, 60 poise, immoral, less than 15 rivalry - I'd even managed to talk him down after rejecting him the first time) and I don't think it's a bug, but I wanted to make sure

yeah, a few political marriage paths are blocked for same country backgrounds as there is no political value in marrying someone from home. <3

Hmm, Aly, Jarrod/Widow political marriage isn't blocked in the code. I believe the problem here is Jarrod will NOT consider the match if jar_rival <= 15 when it's supposed to be the opposite.

Yeah, it'd make sense if this wasn't the one same-kingdom political marriage that wasn't blocked given that the kingdom Revaire has to make peace with is...itself? (But it may be that this is blocked altogether, or blocked unless you're on Gisette's path, I can live with that.)

Yeah, that would explain the issue I reported earlier where Jarrod seemed to hate me for no reason as well.
