Yeah, the final boss was pretty bad at first 😅
But I just published a new version that makes the fight more balance and less RNG based. You can also shoot the tentacles that popup to make a path. I also fixed the hitboxes to feel more fair. If you decide to give it another try, feel free to give anymore more feedback about it, it helps a lot!
Also, I was going for more of a psychological horror, so most of the horror comes from the environment/interacting with items/getting the other hidden endings. Still, thank you for the feedback!
Make sure you read the items/interactables very carefully, especially when other characters write things down!
Thanks for playing the game again! I'm glad some people were able to find the second ending :) The third ending is a lot more hidden, but we felt like it made it more rewarding to find. Especially for people who read all the dialogue and were able to pick up on the hints. Thanks for sticking around to play, even through all the bugs and rebalances :D
Hey is this a bug? I don't know what triggered it but this is what happened:
Thanks for pointing this out, it is a bug. We will work on fixing this. There was a oversight where you can only get each ending once. Because of this, the item needed for the endings won't respawn 😅
We have a fix that will come with some other updates soon.
In the meantime, avoid going into the basement boss room.
