Woo! New capabilities, but simple! Heh, allowing negatives! Allowing more possibilities!

Oh, good, it's not another Shadow monster. I guess Shadow monsters are even more dark / hidden than this Worm!

Solid rock stats! Not 300 HP a basic monster... yet?

Great time to Mix up a fast Earth attack!

And this is just by itself! If there's more than one, or if there's other enemies with it... heh. They're sorta tougher / hold bigger grudges than Cave Worms, who don't stick around! Uh, how do I get a Cave Worm to flee? I've been blocking for 10 turns?

Yay progress!

Cave Worms can Burrow Away after 55 ticks and are guaranteed to Burrow Awayafter 76 ticks.

Uh, that doesn't seem to be happening? I blocked the one at the upper right of the mine, above the Miner in the side passage, all the way from 5 Star Force to 75 Star Force, and no Burrowing is happening... A.k.a it's Bulldozed me more than 20+ times?

Especially since I seem to have maxed out my Shield Generator boost, a.k.a 300 ticks?

Really? That's odd. I'll give that a look and see if I can't replicate it and come up with a fix.

EDIT: I was able to replicate it. Going to test more and find out why.

EDIT 2: There we go! It was checking the wrong variable. A fix for this issue will ship with the next update. It's very good that you found this issue because another upcoming enemy will have a similar gimmick! Thank you for the help.

No prob! Thanks for making an enemy that made me think and Check to discover this mechanic!

Yay for code reuse making things easier!

Edit: Felt like going deeper into the Mine... What triggers Mineral Slimes to make Walls? Or even Block? Because they're just punching me for 0 damage since I'm Genji Shield-ing.

Have you got Earth resistance? They're set to always use their punch if you are. Actually, I could probably switch a few lines and make them check to see if they've got a wall first.

Thanks! Yeah, I thought that might've been it. It was my "How low can Resistances go?" loadout, so I was packing the Dullstone.

And just as a note, the answer is that it can go up to 98% if it's Ice Res, a.k.a a display of 2%.

BUG below? Edit: Oh, right, something about using Brill's Rock Wall stats instead of their own, if I remember right?

Bestiary / Brill's Notes say that Mineral Slimes can deal up to 100 Earth Damage with Rockslide, but how? Their max Wall lasts for 6 turns, not 10, so "Wall Def" x "Wall Turns" isn't gonna be the 10x10 needed for 100?

Actually, how is Rockslide not hurting me? Not Blocking, Defense 23, Earth Damage Multiplier at 100%... Only other effects are the Double Dragonstone, Master's Gift... And that's all that seems relevant? And the Slime does have a Wall up...

Hope I'm only finding new bugs / your records are good on knowing when/if I am! I feel like I refought Mineral Slimes before for Mythril or something and would've noticed this already...?

I see the problem- they were using their Soften instead of their Rock Wall. Must've been rushing too much when I programmed that section. I'll be able to ship that fix with the next patch too.

Yay for easy fix!
...
Mine examination: The "Maybe it's got food" barrel in the first room has an extra space before "touched".

Okay, rafting on the healing spring was a bad idea. Locked me in the not-sparkly corner.

And sailing around Daltah is dangerous. The Raft can go into Daltah but almost couldn't leave unless I activated Down, a.k.a the Entrance Tile.

Hmm, in what circumstances would I want Reviver Amulets instead of Angel Rings? Probably Perilous Punch related. And the Rings are from the Tower... hmmm.
