i HAVE played through the first game and the last ending i got was losing to the final boss and i don't know what you mean by "open the file" because i've already tried to and it wouldn't let me.
What matters for the first game playthrough is mostly how many times you fully lost to the mobs and got the defeat scene. Drag and drop the file into notepad. Be sure when you save it that you save it as a .js and not a .txt.
