There is a lot to like about this one.

  • Liked the small intro, it is a nice touch without being too long.
  • Liked the idea with the spin-to-win. At first I only spinned the wheel just once (or twice?) but did not realize that is does not have a cooldown and can be used multiple times in a row. Especially with the first boss who seems to wander off quiet often.
  • Liked the music and SFX and it fits the atmosphere very well.
  • Liked the Synty modells, they are always great.

Nitpicking: I think the camera could use some work, especially near the wheel it seems to do unexpected things. Melee combat did not really work out for me, I always got stuck in the boss when dodging. Maybe just a skill issue on my part ;D

And last but not least: I like to see more of this, any future plans?

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Yes, perhaps the UI could help out a bit more in reminding the player when they can afford to spin the wheel.

Fair point with the camera movement, originally the plan was to come up with a shader system to see the player and boss through obstacles, but we couldn't find/figure out a compatible solution for our needs.

Always good to hear the desire for more content! We were really happy to have a solid core gameplay loop down for this jam, so it would be a case of adding more content across the board - more bosses, movesets, weapons, etc.
