Extremely impressive art and animations across the board. I loved finding new details everywhere I looked. It was a struggle at first getting the dash to go where I wanted it to and having to hold down an input to keep the character alive was a bit taxing, but it was rewarding to get the hang of it. Excellent stuff!

This was an excellent take on the theme, I would perhaps say the movement was a tad floaty and I would have liked a higher jump to get over some of the obstacles. Each of the mechanics were nevertheless fun and unique, I enjoyed it a lot!

This was a refreshingly unique take on the theme. The art and audio was great and worked well together. It was a challenging fight but satisfying when you were able to get the asteriods flying where you wanted them to. Great stuff!

Very cool spire theme with the background, menus and such. Each of the boss fights had good rhythm to them which felt rewarding. Good stuff!

Unfortunately, I am not sure the boss fight is working on the build for whatever reason, nothing happened throughout the song. In any case, I'm sure if that was working, the concept would be great!

Having tried and failed to get a spinning arena working myself, I am glad to see a game here that pulled it off! The boss and arena design are very cool and love how the theme has been worked in. The UI was a great visualizer of the mechanic once I read the description to understand it. I would say some of the audio needs to be faded/trimmed as you get kind of abrupt stops to certain sounds like boss attacks. Good stuff overall!

The backing visuals and hud were stunning, I loved the persepctive switch up! It definitely fits the bill as a bullet hell, but the visuals made many of the situations such as the final boss look impossible to do without taking damage or dying as the bullets would take up a lot of space. Still felt very satisfying overall!

Very nice arena with the crowd, animations and camera movements. I did find the bullets shoot quite a bit slower than what I would expect and also some of the sounds like taking damage were a bit jarring. But a solid experience overall.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Yes, perhaps the UI could help out a bit more in reminding the player when they can afford to spin the wheel.

Fair point with the camera movement, originally the plan was to come up with a shader system to see the player and boss through obstacles, but we couldn't find/figure out a compatible solution for our needs.

Always good to hear the desire for more content! We were really happy to have a solid core gameplay loop down for this jam, so it would be a case of adding more content across the board - more bosses, movesets, weapons, etc.

Thanks again! - Spider and Xarvus

This was a fanstastically fun take on a souls experience with a spinning theme. Each of the bosses had very unique movesets and arenas with meticulous designs across the board. If I had to be picky, I would say I sometimes struggled to handle the bike and get ranged attacks to go where I wanted them to - a target/lock-on system or aim assist could help, but of course it could just be my skill issue ;) Excellent work!

Very groovy use of the theme, loving the art and UI! There is unfortunately currently an exception when pressing 'try again' or 'main menu' resulting in a crash. I also sometimes found getting the correct input to register difficult. Nevertheless, cool vibes that will keep people's heads bobbing!

The art is phenomenal and it was extremely impressive introducing dynamic elements into such detailed pixel art. A great addition would be sound effects to make this an even more visceral experience. Very promising game!

Love the interpretation of the theme on this and the golden bullet hell! I did have to launch this in Chrome (failed to run on Firefox). I found the character freezing upon getting hit a little jarring in the context of the fast paced action. There was also some freezing when particles first spawned in. But overall, a very unique and polished experience!

Excellent aesthetic across the board with the sound, animations, models, UI, etc. Moving around felt nice and responsive and rewarding. Like others here I did struggle a bit to get to many of the green orbs without also hitting red orbs.

The twist fitting the theme was a nice surprise. Whilst there was no sound or music, the level design was interesting and engaging. I do think the movement could have been snappier as it felt a bit sluggish, but good work!

This game provided a really interesting twist on a management-style game. It could use some sound effects, but it was a fun experience overall.

This was a fun game that required careful management of resources. Solid experience accross the board - well done!

Whilst it was a pretty short game, it delivered on so many fronts. The concept had me laughing all the way through, all the little details within the operating system were fantastic. Excellent work!

Very interesting mechanic with some excellent platforming puzzles. I really liked how much creativity was required to solve them and it was very satisfying to do so. The UI and audio could have done with some more detailing, but that didn't take away from a fun bit of gamplay!

That was a lot of fun to play and quite the adventure. The use of the theme was well-executed here with a good range of different mechanics that all felt smooth and engaging. I did feel that some of the assets used were a bit mix and match, but this did result in a good variety of aethetics. Well done!

The game had some nice audio and aesthetics. The controls were simple and made for agile gameplay. Cool to see moving enemies to mix it up! I am not sure that the link to the game jam's theme was particularly strong, but nevertheless a fun game.

Good execution of this innovative concept. Sometimes I wish the cutscenes for obstacle clearance were a bit quicker, but overall: great art, puzzles and fun.

Thank you for playing, yes sometimes the deflection mechanic would not behave how you would expect, which was tricky to debug.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, after some post-release playtesting from friends, we realised the word "block" in the tutorial should probably have been "deflect" or maybe even "deflect lasers" that sort of thing. The player actually did have iFrames, but the duration was set to 0.1f mostly to stop mutliple triggers from the same collider, but yes I agree it should have been a bit longer.

Thank you for playing!

This is a fun and intriguing game, the puzzles are engaging! Good job!

Thank you for the feedback. Sometimes it was unclear whether it was down to the narrow parry window or bugs involving the collider of the shield.

Thanks for the feedback, we definitely agree and take that on board. The deflection was intended to be a more fast-paced style of combat, but the enemy health, movement style and levels didn't quite match up with that by the end.

Great art style and puzzles! The music loop maybe was a bit too active when trying to think about puzzle solving, but still a good tune!

Excellent game with a fun mechanic, detailed art and audio. Keep it up!

Very entertaining game and concept. Sometimes the movement felt a bit sluggish, but the graphics and audio were fanstastic!

Thanks, it was flowers that spawned in the top left near the bee hive.

The art style and camera work is excellent in this game. The audio and visuals are very atmospheric! There is not a lot to do, but for this game, being swept up in the snowy ambience makes for a nice experience. Great job overall!

I could not make it past the first jumping level. I am not sure if I was missing something like an extra ability, but I could not see a way to get across. Nice music and graphics though.

This game has a fun concept with smooth controls and UI, with playful graphics to match the vibe. I wasn't able to launch a bee to hit the highest hanging flowers, but other than that the game felt well-rounded and entertaining - good job!

Very entertaining and stressful game watching seagulls wreak havoc on my picnic! In the WebGL build the movement did feel a little sluggish and I would get stuck on picnic items, but overall a very fun and amusing game!

This is an excellent well-rounded game with intriguing puzzles, nostalgic 8-bit style graphics and music and fits the theme well. Awesome job!

Very smooth and immerse game. I really like that the animations and audio combinations feel like they have a lot of weight behind them, making attacks feel solid.

A nice concept and environment to explore. The animations were welcomed, although a bit clunky, particularly for the attack animations. I think the game might need to spell out the core mechanic a bit more perhaps through more suggestive design. I appreciate that was there in part with the progressive enemies, but perhaps more signals to the player. The movement was a little rigid, with the jump feeling like a different speed to the rest of the movements. Overall though, a very good concept that could be worked on more.
