What a hard game lol.
The graphics are amazing, but one criticism is that the game should have a pixel perfect camera , it would make the make the game feel much tight and snappy, some pixelart styles work without it but a retro style game like yours would benefit alot from it.

The music does not loop, or so i think? But the soundtrack is very nice, as MegaStrimp said, reminds me of megaman!

Very nice game, good job!

Ps. maybe slowing down how fast the player falls would make the game feel better, and it would tie in into the whole planet thing.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry you found it too difficult but several people in the comments have told me its too easy so now im a bit conflicted... I made sure that all the pixels with exception I believe to the health and flight bar to be the same scale relative to each other so that no pixels would be larger but I agree that the game would benefit from a pixel perfect camera. I tried using one but it was causing some problems when I was making sure that the game would work on screens with different aspect ratios.

Oh yeah, the pixel perfect does that sometimes. I have not made a pixelart game in a while but from what I remember, there is some way to fix it like locking the aspect ratio to ceirtan resoloutions? im pretty sure cinemachine has a built in pixel perfect camera and it's a little less confusing. As for the difficulty, i just suck at 2D platformers lol
