Although the game seems really polished, the sounds, the art, all great: the gameplay itself is way, way too tedious. Eventually clicking the buttons just come as really tedious, and there was no point putting the wood in the fire all the time, because if you die, you just return to your last save, which would not set you back too far.

I played the game for 20 minutes, because I really, really wanted to give it fair shot! It looked good! But after 20 minutes, until I gave up. I got other game jam games to play, and I try keep each game to five minutes each, which is fair enough I think.

I got to the dialogue #20 from the Captain. All in all, looks like a great concept, just not at all fun. Remember, all this is just my opinion. Thanks :)

Yeah, it was pretty clear about halfway through the jam that the core concept for the gameplay just was not fun or challenging, but it was too far in for me to rework it, and I was more focused on making a complete experience than a good one.

Still, thanks for the feedback! I was really in the mood to make a moody, story-based game for this jam, but for future jams I definitely want to focus on the actual game a lot more, and make that part fun.
